Immerse Yourself in Centuries of Art

This tour is really something special. You will be treated to a knowledgeable expert interpreting images and symbols that arise throughout Mexican art from the Aztecs and other cultures, and notice how those forms, themes or mythologies appear in the art of Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, O'Gorman and others. The UNAM murals are must-sees for anyone who loves art - astonishing in scale and richness and Casa Anahuacalli is both an evocative temple to the art of indigenous Mexico and a monument to the person and talent and ego that was Diego Rivera. Roberto is an excellent guide. We signed up for two tours with him and could not have had a more intelligent, insightful and personable expert to take us deep into the art and history of Mexico. His offerings are high quality and his communication is excellent. We ended our experiences feeling like we expanded our knowledge and understanding and gained a new friend in Mexico.

Liz. Thank you for your words and comments. They say it takes two to tango; in this case, it was five of us, and, like in a well-paced dance, we shared and learned from one another. Visiting Frida´s house, with your kids, Josh, and Ann, brought the house alive, I felt, as if they ( Diego and Frida) were there hosting all of us as we shared insights into their lives, and in a certain way, they were there. I look forward to seeing you soon. I hope the Eagles go past the 49ers this coming weekend, but never past the NE Pats, and may this year be a wonderful one for all of you and your loved ones. Remember, you are no longer visitors in México; this is your home. Best regards Rob

Expand Your Perspectives

This is not just a who-what-where-when kind of tour. Roberto offers his unique perspective about how different strands: Meso-American and European history, universal cosmology and religion, geography and art all intersect in this compact several-block-area of the Centro in Mexico City. You'll learn about architecture, history, art, culture and religion on this walk. Come with your most curious minds and your most comfortable walking shoes and immerse yourself in the richness this tour offers. Mexico City has such a rich history; let Roberto share this history and maybe push on some of your old narratives so you can learn a newer, richer story about the history of this area.

I look forward to having you back soon to continue exploring, learning and sharing smiles. May this 2026 bring lots of health, love, and new adventures. Thank you for the opportunity of sharing and thank you for your comments. Best regards Yours. Rob
