Hi I'm Roberto professor of history and art, I will be very happy to host you and your group during your visit to Mexico. With more than 25 years of experience in both national and international Travel Industry and with a multicultural past, I continue to enjoy sharing México´s incredible past, from its multiethnic pre hispanic cultures , to its lively cosmopolitan present that greets us with a vast cultural offer (museums, galleries, theaters and concert halls ) a rich gastronomy (with a variety of ethnoastronomical market corners to the most exclusive offer of Michelin star restaurants). Mexico is a cultural mosaic sharing its ancient past along with its Iberian roots that are an amalgam of Greco-Latin , Goth, Moorish, and Jewish influences, that sprout in the white smile and cheerful expressions of its inhabitants who are proud of their mix race heritage and they expressed it in everyday life though music dance , festivals, cooking , and art all shared with passion. Allow me to help you discover the many faces of Mexico by sharing its past and its present with a smile on our faces. Welcome to Mexico!!

I am a young historian who has been working as a tour guide for 4 years. During this time I have met people from all over the world, which has taught me a lot about interacting with all kinds of people as well as showing my city in an authentic and interesting way. I like to take people to places that show another side of Mexico City, a closer perspective of how its inhabitants live day to day. I also enjoy taking photographs on my tours.

Jeroen A.
My name is Jeronimo (Jeroen). I'm Mexican and European. I studied economics with a specialization in International Management at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. I have always been fascinated by Latin America. After my studies I worked as a consultant, entrepreneur and commercial director in Belgium, Brazil, The Netherlands, Guatemala, and Argentina. I have been active in humanitarian aid in Third World countries worldwide. I have travelled extensively to Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. I have worked as a tour conductor in France, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and Indonesia. Mexico is where I decided to stay twenty years ago. I started off with groups of 20 people with trips of 28 days from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and back to Mexico. After this I switched to trips of 21 days visiting the same countries. After having visited each archaeological site over 60 times, each time with another local guide, I decided to study Mexican History and Archaeology, inspired by some of the local guides who told the tourists that the Mayas landed from Mars in spaceships. I am specialized in Maya culture. Working with people and showing them different cultures is what fascinates me. In 2004, I started off with the big tour companies like TUI and Thomas Cook, who commercialized the trips from 28 days and reduced it to 12 days. I did that for 10 years, after which I went on as a private tour guide/driver for small groups. I offer private day tours and multi day tours to all archaeological sites and nature parks transportation included in English, French, German, Dutch, and Spanish.

Mexico Tour Reviews
Irene S.
“A wonderful local experience in Mexico City with Oskar”
I was traveling solo and had no idea where to go in Mexico City, and booking a tour with Oskar turned out to be the best decision. He thoughtfully planned the entire day for me, bringing me to local markets and great food spots that I would never have found on my own. The tour was very relaxed with no rushing at all, which I really appreciated. Oskar was incredibly accommodating, patient, and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable the whole time. It felt more like exploring the city with a local friend than a typical tour. Highly recommended for solo travelers or anyone who wants an authentic, stress free experience in Mexico City.

“Immerse Yourself in Centuries of Art”
This tour is really something special. You will be treated to a knowledgeable expert interpreting images and symbols that arise throughout Mexican art from the Aztecs and other cultures, and notice how those forms, themes or mythologies appear in the art of Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, O'Gorman and others. The UNAM murals are must-sees for anyone who loves art - astonishing in scale and richness and Casa Anahuacalli is both an evocative temple to the art of indigenous Mexico and a monument to the person and talent and ego that was Diego Rivera. Roberto is an excellent guide. We signed up for two tours with him and could not have had a more intelligent, insightful and personable expert to take us deep into the art and history of Mexico. His offerings are high quality and his communication is excellent. We ended our experiences feeling like we expanded our knowledge and understanding and gained a new friend in Mexico.

Liz. Thank you for your words and comments. They say it takes two to tango; in this case, it was five of us, and, like in a well-paced dance, we shared and learned from one another. Visiting Frida´s house, with your kids, Josh, and Ann, brought the house alive, I felt, as if they ( Diego and Frida) were there hosting all of us as we shared insights into their lives, and in a certain way, they were there. I look forward to seeing you soon. I hope the Eagles go past the 49ers this coming weekend, but never past the NE Pats, and may this year be a wonderful one for all of you and your loved ones. Remember, you are no longer visitors in México; this is your home. Best regards Rob

“Expand Your Perspectives ”
This is not just a who-what-where-when kind of tour. Roberto offers his unique perspective about how different strands: Meso-American and European history, universal cosmology and religion, geography and art all intersect in this compact several-block-area of the Centro in Mexico City. You'll learn about architecture, history, art, culture and religion on this walk. Come with your most curious minds and your most comfortable walking shoes and immerse yourself in the richness this tour offers. Mexico City has such a rich history; let Roberto share this history and maybe push on some of your old narratives so you can learn a newer, richer story about the history of this area.

Dear Liz. It was a pleasure to host you and your family ( Josh , Josh Jr, Ann) I loved the culture and knowledge you all have; it enriched my own perspective, and the overall tour and experience. I look forward to having you back soon to continue exploring, learning and sharing smiles. May this 2026 bring lots of health, love, and new adventures. Thank you for the opportunity of sharing and thank you for your comments. Best regards Yours. Rob
