The Hassan II Mosque is an architectural marvel and one of the largest mosques in the world. Guided tours are available to explore the mosque's interior, which is adorned with exquisite mosaics, marble columns, and a retractable roof.
This scenic coastal promenade offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and is lined with cafes, restaurants, and beaches. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, enjoying the sea breeze, and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere. As we drive along the Corniche, we’ll pass by the historic Hotel Anfa in the Anfa district, which is known for its charm and blend of old-world elegance with modern luxury.
These squares are the cultural and administrative heart of Casablanca. Mohamed V Square features a grand fountain and impressive buildings, including the Palace of Justice and the French Consulate. United Nations Square is a bustling hub with a mix of modern and colonial architecture. Here, we’ll embark on a leisurely walk to uncover the city’s art deco architecture, characterized by its unique geometric shapes and elegant facades.
This vibrant market is a sensory delight with its colorful stalls, aromatic spices, and fresh produce. It’s a great place to experience the local culture, try Moroccan delicacies, and shop for souvenirs. The lively atmosphere and friendly vendors make it an enjoyable stop.
The Habous Quarter, also known as the New Medina, is a charming neighborhood that beautifully blends traditional Moroccan architecture with French colonial influences. Its narrow streets are lined with artisan shops, bakeries, and quaint cafes. Highlights include the Mahkama du Pacha, a stunning example of Moorish design, and the olive market, where you can sample and purchase a variety of olives and other local products.
Depending on your preference, we can take a break for lunch at one of the local restaurants. Casablanca offers a variety of dining options, from traditional Moroccan cuisine to international fare.
