Today, we will explore Marrakech city with a local guide in order to get deeply inside Medina and discover the labyrinthine streets of Marrakech. In other words, we will visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, Souk, Mellah and Medersa Ben Youssef. Later, we will walk through Jamaa el Fna (famous square), which is the city’s historical point and entertainers. Besides, Marrakech (ancient part) is a city of immense beauty and its fabulous palaces, bustling souks, and narrow streets.

Medersa Ben Youssef - University in Marrakech
Ben Youssef Medresa used to an Islamic University in Marrakech. Today, it is functioning as a historical site and it was the largest Islamic college in Marrakech city. Entry fee is not included: 5€ and local currency 50 MAD (adults).
Jemaa El Fna Market - Marrakech's Main Square.
The Jemaa el Fnaa is the heart of the city and Marrakech's main square. In other words, it is the most important part of the medina.
La Koutoubia Mosque - Iconic Landmark
The Koutoubia Mosque was built in the 12th century and it is one of the oldest mosques. Besides, it is an iconic landmark in Marrakech city and the most impressive mosque but it is not open to the public.
Bab Agnaou Marrakech
Bab Agnaou is one of the best known Gates of Marrakech. Therefore, the gate was the main public entrance to the royal kasbah in the southern part of the medina of Marrakech.
Mellah Jewish Neighborhood Square
The Mellah or the Jewish Quarter in Marrakech refers to the area where Jews resided. Today, it is home to many silver stores, a tiny herb and spice market.
Bahia Palace in Marrakech
The Bahia Palace is one of the most beautiful palaces in Marrakech and it is the top visited attraction. In other words, it was built in the late nineteenth century and is a must see attraction. Entry fee is not included: 7€ and local currency 70 MAD (adults).
