A nice walking tour around the old town, passing the façade of the most remarkable old Palaces, residence of the nobility that formerly used to pass their summer in this town, trying to escape the terrible summer heat. The espectacular view points over the canyon and the famous Puente Nuevo, a masterpiece of the XVlll century and its lovely old main square with façade of the Santa María and the Town Hall. Ronda Bullring
We meet outside Ronda's Bullring, besides gate number 1, next to statues of famous Spanish Ordoñez bullfighters, Cayetano and Antonio.
After stopping at a bronce bull statue, we head to a nice viewpoint next to 2 monuments dedicated to Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles.

Here you will be able to take the best photos of the Gorge and the Bridge
We will stop at the façade of Salvatierra Palace built in the 18th century.
The main square formerly was the bullring of Ronda till the 18th century, here it is also located the old Cathedral St Maria and the old Town Hall, then walk to another beautiful viewpoint to enjoy the magnificent landscape of the Valley under the impresive cliffs of Ronda.
Walk back to New Bridge and to finish close to the Bullring again.

Armando was very informative about the history and geography of the town. He was able to accommodate me and my mobility scooter on the best paths. However, the town does have a lot of cobblestone streets.
