I'm a highly passionate and enthusiastic tour guide from Barcelona, well-versed in both the city's mainstream attractions and its lesser-known gems. Overall, food, history, urbanism, and architecture are my passions, but they truly come alive when I can share them with you. I firmly believe that a guided tour isn't just about me and my knowledge. It's about striking a balance between delivering quality information, exchanging culture, and, most importantly, considering the diverse personalities of my clients. Above all, I prioritize listening to your interests and preferences, ensuring that our interaction is tailored to meet your needs. I also welcome the opportunity to learn from your experiences and stories, enriching our mutual understanding if you're open to it. At the end of the day, my challenge is to provide you with an experience offering a 360º view (clear but not overwhelming) of Barcelona, Catalonia, and Spain. I want you to feel that when you return home, you've experienced and embraced a piece of Spain and old Europe. During our time together, I strive to make learning about history and art enjoyable while igniting your curiosity to continue exploring beyond our tour. And, I can't forget something fundamental – I'm always ready to introduce you to the local cuisine. If you're someone who loves experiencing a country through its flavors, you're in for a delightful culinary journey! About my background: With a degree in Languages and Literature, coupled with prior experience in Marketing, I bring a diverse skill set to my tours. Drawing from this background, I specialize in crafting immersive, personalized narratives that delve into Barcelona's architecture, urbanism, arts, politics, and social dynamics. For me, the true magic happens when I can bridge the gap between the past and present through the lens of present-day Barcelona.

When I left my hometown Düsseldorf in 1999 to move to Barcelona, the Catalan capital was rather a polluted, shady and even dangerous industrial site than the trendy and cosmopolitan tourist destination it is nowadays. I came into town as a photographer and event manager and despite of Barcelona's guff post-industrial charm I was instantly overwhelmed by the creativity and passion of its people, their way of seeing things and to live their lives. With the time I got more and more attracted by tourism and achieved work experience as a property manager and travel consultor. Finally, I launched my own little travel consultancy in 2016 and since that I am offering luxury accommodations, DMC / concierge services and a wide range of day tours and group activities. My core business are private day tours from Barcelona to destinations like Girona, Tarragona, Sitges, Vic, Besalú or areas like Costa Brava, Penedés or Priorat. My mission is to leave the beaten path and to make my customers discover unique historical sites, beautiful landscapes, vibrant street life and amazing food and wine experiences. For the tour we use a comfy, private SUV that fits 4 passengers + driver / guide. The tours can be done in English, Spanish, French and German and they can generally be customised to meet the interests and needs of the group at any time. During the tour you get an idea of the long and diverse history of the sites, local traditions s.a. insights about lifestyle, culture and social concerns.

Guiding epitomizes the art of sharing, where every interaction enriches life with passion and purpose ;-) Embracing a life of adventure and cultural exploration, I've called Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Ecuador home while pursuing my career in International Commerce. Armed with a Business Degree and a deep love for the great outdoors, I've also taken on the role of an official Hiking and Cycling guide. For the past two decades, Barcelona has been my sanctuary, where I've found joy in immersing myself in its vibrant culture and welcoming atmosphere. Traveling has always been my greatest inspiration, fueling my desire to extend hospitality to others, just as it was graciously extended to me. Among Barcelona's many treasures, I find solace in scaling the majestic cliffs and spires of Montserrat's North face, a natural wonder that never fails to awe me. But equally captivating is the simple pleasure of losing myself amidst the cobblestone alleys of the Gothic quarter, pedaling my way to the tranquil shores of the Mediterranean. My mission is to curate experiences that blend nature, sport, tradition, and history, offering travelers the opportunity to forge lasting memories and connections. Whether it's hiking through rugged landscapes, cycling along scenic routes, or delving into the city's rich tapestry of stories, I'm ready to guide you on an unforgettable journey of discovery.

Victor A.
My name is Víctor, and I’m a passionate local guide based in Madrid, a city that never stops surprising me no matter how many times I walk its streets. I was born with a deep curiosity for culture, people, and the stories hidden behind everyday places. Over the years, that curiosity grew into a love for sharing the most authentic side of Madrid — the one that lives in its neighbourhoods, its traditions, and especially its food. Spanish gastronomy is one of my greatest passions. I’m fascinated by the history behind our dishes, the evolution of our flavours, and the way food connects people. Madrid is a crossroads of cultures, and its cuisine reflects that beautifully. My goal is to help you taste the city the way locals do: with joy, curiosity, and a sense of discovery. My experiences are designed to be meaningful, relaxed, and full of genuine flavour. I don’t just show you where to eat — I show you why Madrileños eat the way we do, how our traditions were born, and what makes this city’s lifestyle so unique. I’m Víctor, and I can’t wait to share the food culture of Madrid with you. Enjoy your stay and… ¡Buen provecho! If you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for, just ask me — I’m always happy to tailor something special for you.

Hola and welcome to Madrid and its surroundings! My name is Vanessa and I'm looking forward to showing you this beautiful and unique city and making sure that you enjoy every second of your visit. But not only the city of Madrid; there are a number of other cities, within a distance of 60-70 minutes by car, like Toledo, Segovia, El Escorial, Ávila, … that fully complement the modern Madrid with the history of Spain in more than two thousand years: romans, muslins, jews and christians. I’m a proud madrileña with Swiss Heritage from my father. He came to Madrid in the sixties and fell in love with it. I have also lived in other European countries like Switzerland, Germany and France. Although I have travelled a lot, my favourite city has always been Madrid and its secret squares, sunny terraces, centenary shops, taverns and great city life. Come with me and discover the history and legends of Madrid, its Muslim origins, the charming streets and neighbourhoods, three of the best art museums in the world, the unique shops, the best tapas and especially the Spanish way of life. We can also have a look over the roofs of Madrid from special viewpoints and taste the authentic gastronomy and wines in town. In the cities around Madrid you will see a different place. Much smaller, more quiet and with an amazing and still touchable history. Cities that ruled the region and Spain thousand years ago, when Madrid did not even exist. PS: If what you want to see is not included in my list (like the Thyssen Museum, Retiro Park, Aranjuez, Lavapies), please send me an email and I will arrange a special tour for you. Bienvenidos! And from there, why not, contribute to sharing this knowledge with the people who visit us and those who, even living here, have not had the opportunity to discover many of our favorite corners.

Laura R.
My name is Laura and I am a passionate official tour guide and I try to show visitors the essence of my place, the unique and memorable places. I've been working full time as a tour guide for over 8 years and I hope I can continue for many more. I am also a sworn translator and interpreter by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and I have been travelling around the world to meet new people, to learn about new cultures and to be sure I can speak English in a bilingual way. Toledo holds a special place in my heart, it is my hometown. This is the place that made me who I am today and made me feel what I feel today when I go to work, when I walk around its narrow streets (where I used to play), around the Jewish quarter (where my grandma used to live and the place she had to be hidden in the Civil War), around the convent area (that quiet and fascinating area that surprises me every single day), when I cross the two stunning bridges we have and when I realize that to go to work is a pleasure. There is an indescribable charm about this town. That is why I am a proud official local guide of the beautiful City of the Three Cultures. This is the reason why I love to show visitors the important legacy we have in form of churches, synagogues and mosques. Let me show you the charm of Toledo. I am a very open minded person and I adapt and customize the tour to your specific needs and to anything you may be interested in. It will be a pleasure. Warm regards from the beautiful Toledo.

Hola! My name is Enrique, Andalusian from birth and at heart. My job is fascinating: to make people visiting our land know our culture, enjoy our monuments and feel our cities. I am a tour guide since I was a teenager, participating with some local associations in visits and hikings in Carmona, my birthplace. And finally I became a full time tour guide joining my two passions: nature and history. I arrange visits, day-trips, multi-day tours and experiences throughout Andalusía. Visits in the most important cities in Andalusia, in many UNESCO World Heritage sites and arcahelogical sites. Day-trips from Sevilla, Cordoba or Carmona to every corner of Andalusia. Experiences like iberian ham tastings, olive oil mills, wineries or brave bull farms visits, archaeo-hikings, ... For all this reasons (and more) tailor-made, flexible and adapted tours is my specialty. What would you like to discover in Andalusia?

“One day only in Barcelona was full and interesting.”
Albert was knowledgeable courteous and very helpful. We enjoyed our tour very much.

“Best of Barcelona in 4 hours”
We booked this short tour because of a long layover. Albert picked us up at our hotel and provided us with some history of the city. His pride was evident as he showed us highlights. We started with an overview of the entire city from Montjuic. The port and beach area were next. Other highlights included Gaudi built residences and the center of town. Our last stop was the Basilica de la Sagrada Família, the Gaudi designed church which was being prepared for a centennial celebration. A short but definitely worthwhile tour within a limited time frame. Thank you, Albert for your time. We would recommend this tour.

Before the tour she made shure, that we got to see, what we really wanted and was very flexible and totally open to adjust the tour to your need, spontanously. She has a lot of historical background knowledge so, a walk with her is a great benefit and you get to learn a lot. She is a very nice and gentle person, therfore it was nice spending time together and having a nice and long walk through Madrid. Also, she takes great fotos!
