About Tour Guide Hiroko D.
Hi, I'm Hiroko. I was born in Kyoto and currently live in its suburb. My parents are also from the ancient capital city, so some of its historic places were like my playgrounds when I was a child. Now, as a national certified tour guide, I would like to show you around not only Kyoto but also Osaka and Nara enjoyably and time-effectively. For your reference, I lived in New York, U.S.A. for about 20 years and worked there for about 17 and a half years, so I believe that I will be able to communicate and speak well with you in English. “Wonderful Tour with a Fantastic Guide”
Hiroko gave us a wonderful tour and we are so happy we selected her as our guide. She took us to beautiful sites and was extremely knowledgeable about them as well. Hiroko speaks very good English and was so personable and friendly. We were on a cruise so we had to be back at a certain time. Hiroko planned the tour perfectly and even walked us to the train and showed us exactly how to return to the ship even though it was not in the direction she had to travel to go home. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tour of Kyoto. Thanks again Hiroko!

“Patient. Funny. Knowledgeable. All-in one great guide”
Hiroko impressed us deeply with knowing everything about the Japanes culture. Not just related to Kyoto. But any and all questions were answered with fact and details that made history come alive. Great vocabulary from the many years living in US made this worth every yen. We have learned more than we had hoped for.
