“Discover the traditional side of Xochimilco”

We had a wonderful experience touring Xochimilco with Oskar. Our group included my parents (in their 70s) and my two teenage sons. Before the tour even began, Oskar was incredibly accommodating. When my son was sick on the originally scheduled day, he was flexible and helped us reschedule to another day. Oskar picked us up in a comfortable van with a driver, and after talking through what we were most interested in, he thoughtfully adjusted the itinerary to fit our preferences. We started with a stop at a flower market that was absolutely beautiful with rows of flowers and plants as far as you could see. It wasn’t the typical market in Xochimilco, and it’s somewhere we never would have found on our own. Oskar’s knowledge and personal stories about visiting there as a child made the experience even more meaningful. From there, we headed to Xochimilco, where he had a boat ready for us. The ride was beautiful and relaxing, but what made it especially memorable was that Oskar arranged for us to stop at one of the chinampas—the traditional “floating gardens” of the area. We were able to walk through the farm and speak with the owner about the generations of families who have worked there and how they sell their flowers and plants. It was a unique, personal experience that we would not have had on our own. On the way back, we stopped at a delicious local restaurant, which was a perfect ending to the day. Oskar’s background in history really enhanced the tour, but what stood out most was how personable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring he was throughout the experience. We would 100% recommend booking a tour with Oskar.

Discovering Mexico City like a local I was so impressed with Oskar's knowledge and all the best places to capture amazing photos ...the best part I never felt rushed and looking back at all the places we visited I would gladly tour with Oskar again ...I highly recommend him, exceptionally talented tour guide and photographer.

“A very good experience that more than met my expectations”

Wendy is a great guide; she has a depth of historical and archaeological knowledge that makes touring a site like Templo Mayor with her very rewarding. At the anthropological museum, she carefully chose the galleries that we visited so as to give me the maximum value from a half-day visit. In addition, she is a very nice person, and fun to spend time with.
