I love my country, its culture, history, etc. and know a lot of interesting facts besides the normal guidance for tourists. I am a México City local who is in love with it. I love my whole country but I love my city more. I have studied International Relations and Mexican gastronomy and it's history. I work as a tourist guide and in films as a chaperone; in there my job is to receive and take care of foreign producers and actors. Among the task, I take them to eat, party and find stuff that doesn't exist ( yes that happens). As there are different requirements for this jobs I get to know the different parts of the culture, the exclusive, fancy, curious, popular, untidy; the whole ideosincrasy. I am a serious foodie, also enthusiast about, coffee, beer, wine, mezcal and pulque (prehispanic drink). I like to collect hidden jewels from my city and I also like to cook but preferably with the proper calm and telling the story and culture around the food. In order to have some balance I am sportively very active, I practice football soccer and rugby, also willing to go outdoors anytime. When I was about to enter to study I wanted to do something good for my country; this jobs are a great way to do it, I am proud to show my culture. I also like the fact that I get to learn from visitors, their way of seeing the world. It is very rewarding when visitors leave happy.

“Go with Raphael”
Rafael is a personable, knowledgable and perceptive guide. He has a broad knowledge of Mexican and global cultures. He is creative and receptive to his clients interests, priorities and stamina. “Wonderful guide to a wonderful city”
We took two tours with Oskar during our trip to Mexico and are so glad we did. His enthusiasm and passion for the city are contagious. He was able to share his deep knowledge of history with us in a way that was totally accessible for beginners. His English is flawless and he was great with our kids. Getting to meet Oskar was probably the best thing about our vacation. Highly recommend.
