Shibamata is located at east end of Tokyo wards, and at there you can feel the daily life of good old Tokyo. There is a famous Taisyakuten temple and known as a home town of "Tora-san" who is one of a most famous movie character among Japanese. You can also try riding Yagirino-Watashi, man power ferry between chiba and Tokyo.
I hope this tour will give you a new point of view to Japan and Japanese with compact schedule.

At the approach road to TAISHAKU-TEN, you can try a famous street foods "Kusa Dango" , rice cake with herb and sweet paste. Souvenir shops and restaurants are lined both side of the approach road.
TAISHAKU-TEN - Temple, Garden, and sculpture.
Taishaku-TEN is a Old Buddhist temple often appear on Japanese novels and movies. Famous with carvings gallery and Japanese garden.

Yagirino--watashi - Human-powered ferry between Tokyo and Chiba
Cross Edo river with traditional man power ferry between Tokyo and Chiba. It’s only a remained man power ferry at Tokyo. In case the ferry is suspended with weather reason, we will go to movie museum which exhibit old Japanese way of life.
Lunch
Lunch at the restaurant at the approach road. We have a option to have privileged ramen lunch at Chiba. (reservation is needed in advance )

“Introduction to Tokyo ”
Mutoh met us at our hotel at the arranged time. He scooped us up and took us on a walking tour of his amazing city. Mutoh gave us the confidence to use the public transport system alone. He gave us a real flavour of the historic culture, the modern culture the shopping districts and true taste of Tokyo in the food markets!
