Just a stroll through some of the most beautiful streets in Kyoto, who knows what we'll see, from evening lights to some of the most amazing places in Kyoto.
There's five geiko (geisha) neighbourhoods in Kyoto, Kamishikien, Pontocho, Gion, Gion Kobu and Miyagawacho. We'll be visiting at least 3 of them.

One of the most beatiful streets in Kyoto, Kiyamachi, Ochaya and restaurants for each and every budget. Lovely.
Gion
The most emblematic Geisha district in Kyoto, not the oldest, possibly the most famous, covering the streets of Shirakawa dori, Shinbashi dori and Hanamikoji dori, depending on the pace yet possibly, Kenniji temple.

Hi! This is a PRIVATE walking tour, just bring some comfortable shoes. Geisha (we call them Geiko in Kyoto) DO EXIST, however she's just a lady, working, so seeing them is just a matter of luck, sometimes they're there, sometimes they're not. It is absolutelly forbiden to harrass them or make them feel uncomfortable. Normally they'll refuse to take a picture with you.

I have a wide knowledge of japanese culture, it's social life and it's manners, as well as the most impressive monuments, streets, parks and temples.
I love the city of Kyoto and all of the wonders it has to offer to the people whom decide to visit it, from the Fushimi Inari temple to the Nijo Castle. It is a surprising city with combines the best of modern day activities with the reminiscence of old Japan.

I would like to take you to the following places, which are the three representative tourist destinations in this city: (1) Arashiyama It is the place where all the traditional natural beauties of Japan are combined together. It was subsequently enlarged by successive Shogun. It is the castle as well as the palace, where you can see the powerful structures and beautiful gardens. You can learn, in addition, how great the power of Tokugawa Shogun was. (3) Kinkakuji temple (the Golden Pavilion) (World Cultural Heritage Site) The history of this temple began when the third Shogun of the Muromachi period acquired a tract of land in this area from a powerful statesman in 1397 and built a villa of his own to entertain the Emperor and members of the nobility. The upper two levels of the temple are covered with pieces of gold foil and are shining brilliantly against the background of the rich greenery. The pond in the foreground reflects the golden structure. It looks like the materialization of Pure Land of Buddha in this world. In addition, on the top of the golden structure is the shining phoenix.
