Hello! I am Masumi, thanks for checking out my profile!
I have spent the past 11 years in Tokyo, but prior to Tokyo, I spent 10 years in Dubai. I have also lived in the UK for a couple of years and studied in the US for a year.
I worked as a cabin crew during my years in Dubai. The international and multi cultural environment made me who I am today, an international person. I was fascinated and intrigued by the counties I visited and its people.
As my job took me to countless countries, enabling me to see the world, I found that a tour guide could determine one’s impression of the country, making the trip more memorable. I cherish the great tours I went on to this day!
Also, having lived abroad for 10 years, I was surprised at the level of interest there is in Japan and how many had the desire to visit one day.
After returning to Japan, I soon got a taste of how difficult it could be to get around, even for a Japanese person! Visiting Japan I imagine can be daunting, not just the language barrier, but the ability to get from one place to another in an efficient way.
This led me to get started as a tour guide, assisting visitors with the best possible experience in Japan.
Tokyo is an attractive city where traditional and modern Japan coexist.

A One-Day Tokyo Tour
If you are first time in Tokyo, this tour will suit you. In one day, we will visit main sightseeing spots in Tokyo. The model plan will include Imperial Palace (Former Edo Castle), Sensoji Temple (Oldest temple in Tokyo), Tsukiji Outer Fish Market and Tokyo Skytree Tower. The model Plan can be customized based on customer's requests.
Asakusa Half-Day Tour
Let's explore town Asakusa, a distric that will take you back in time and remind you of Tokyo's roots! We will visit Sensoji Temple, Nakamise Shopping Street, Asakusa Shrine and Kappabashi Kitchen Utensils Street. In this half day tour, you will get to experience a different side of Tokyo, the stroll down Asakusa is rich in history, with vendors lining the streets selling traditional souvenirs and serving food and snacks.

“Blended in with our family”
I am so happy our family had the opportunity to meet Masumi to celebrate our son, Khaliq's 25th birthday. She was a great match with her friendly personality. Our family welcomes anyone with open arms and she just fit right in. Her knowledge of the area and her country made our experience even better than just siteseeing. “Visits all over Tokyo ”
Both tour days with Masumi san where excellently put together i gave her a list of places I wanted to visit and she planned both days to perfection. On the 1st day of the tour when I meet Masumi san she was on time waiting for me in the hotel lobby, after I made sure I had everything I needed we set off towards the busy station 1st stop was the beautiful temple any questions that I had Masumi was ready to answer she was so helpfull and very funny i loved having her show me around Tokyo over the two days i must of walked about 40000 steps everthing i wanted to see and visit she had it planned to perfection. I would strongly recommend Masumi san if you are looking for a guide with local knowledge and knowhow. She was excellent. I can not wait till next time I come back to Japan Mt Fuji is the next place I will be going and yes you guessed it I will be booking Masumi san for that adventure. Overall I would have to give her 100/10 for Masumi San. I have got a master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the U.S. I have been living in a city of Fujisawa, which is the city next to Kamakura, for more than 20 years, and also lived in Kamakura for more than 10 years.
