Full Kimono experience

Kana was an excellent guide! In particular, I was able to have the total kimono experience. This is something I wouldn’t have been able to do without a local! Together we ate some sushi, went to some Japanese stores and she gave me some interesting insights about Japan and the culture. Thank you Kana!

Beyond happy with experience

Our outing with Kana was unbelievable. We are from Canada and were very worried about getting around the city. Kana was great from the get go communicating the experience that we were going to have. Making sure we understood transportation and confirming allergies before booking restaurant for lunch. She arrived in our hotel lobby on time and greeted us with a giant smile excited to meet us. She explained how the trip was going to go and she was very polite, friendly, helpful and truly went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our day. She was knowledgeable about the city providing us information/history of the different parts of the city. Teaching us about the Japan rail system. Also giving us some other advice about other places to visit based on where we were staying. Would highly recommend booking this guide as she truly provides and warm and stress free experience.

Japan

I came to Japan in 1998, intending to stay a few months, but enjoying Japan, I never left. I was intrigued by the history, culture, language, and food. And the fascination and excitement of exploring and learning new things about Japan still exists with me today. The variety and choices of things to do and places to go can be overwhelming. I can offer you suggestions and a unique perspective on Japan. I can share local knowledge about things often missed. Fluent in Japanese with a master's degree in Japanese Studies and living in Japan for over 20 years, I can be your guide.
