I'm Toichi. Please call me Ichi, which means No.1 in Japanese. Or you can remember it as 'itchy' Ichi.
Born and bred in Osaka, I would like to introduce you to this extremely diverse and interesting city.
I have travelled extensively around the globe, and I think one of the greatest pleasure of travelling abroad is meeting people who have different ways of lifestyle and thinking. Japan may not be an easy place for tourists to get to know its people. So, I hope to help you to get closer to meet real Japan and Japanese people.
I would like to show you how ordinary Japanese people live and think. And I am happy if you could have a day of unique cultural experiences which you can look back to in ten years' time!

I will try to meet your needs and requirements as much as possible. Please let me know if you have special requests. I specialize in tours in Osaka, but I can also do day tours in Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, Hiroshima and Koyasan. I can do shopping tour and eating tour. I am very flexible with time and can also do tours at late in the evening.

Nara and Osaka in One Day
In the morning, we will be visiting Nara, the ancient capital city of Japan before Kyoto. In the late afternoon, we will move to Osaka, the vibrant center of Western Japan. You can feel two different faces of Japan, old and new in one day. Experience ancient history during the day and enjoy vibrant commercial atomosphere of the urban life in the late afternoon / early evening.

Strolling along the Longest Shopping Arcade in Japan
Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Arcade in Osaka is 2.6 km long with more than 600 restaurants and stores. It is the longest fully covered arcade in Japan where ordinary Osaka people eat and shop every day. We will start our tour at Temmangu Shrine, wishing for the success of our day. Then, we will leisurely walk up to the north, stopping at variety of shops and nibbling favorite local foods.

“Ready Set Walk”
WOW what a great tour from Ichi. He coordinated with me the day before and the morning. We started at Kyoto Station and learned every step of the way. By the end of the tour we learned so much about Buddhism, Japanese history and even “she go rock” numbers. i highly recommend Ichi

“Unforgettable Kyoto Tour”
Ichi made our Kyoto walking tour truly special. He met us at our hotel, fully prepared and with a clear plan, and from there, the experience only got better. Ichi shared fascinating insights about Maikos and Geikos in Gion, taught us how to count in Japanese, and even treated us to some delicious sake! He also showed us how to make origami, adding a unique cultural touch that we’ll never forget. Ichi’s knowledge of hidden gems—like a secluded zen garden we had all to ourselves—made our visit feel exclusive and unforgettable. Highly recommend!
