Hi, my name is Tak.

I have seen travelers.

And, I found they got tired of typical sightseeing spots, like crowded temples and shrines.

There must be spots fit to your feeling and interests, more in Japan.

Then, I’d like to propose.

Why don’t you start unique and original tour, only your hearts bring to yourselves?

.

I had guided

Pokemon tour

Ghost story tour

Live house tour

Bento (lunchbox) tour

Textile tour

Papermaking tour

I’ll search the site you want to see and create your unique itinerary.

First, could you give your message about things you want to do and see in Japan?

Let’s make great time you can’t never forget.

Thank you so much.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

I live in SHITAMACHI, Tokyo, or old residential town near ASAKUSA and UENO. My hobby is strolling and I walk about this area almost every day. I know even the smallest path, big and small museums, workshops of artisans, an impressive view of gigantic tree, a beer bar in an impressive old house, unique souvenir shops, cats living in Yanaka and many, many other attractive spots in this area.

You can expect a day that nobody read in guide books.

So!

I hope you name me as the navigator of your fantastic memory-making-tour!!!!

I’m 61-year-old and I still love rock’n roll music. If you want to enjoy live music in Tokyo, I can also arrange the location and occasion according to your mood and boom.

Great Day in Asakusa and Yanaka

Thank you Tak for a great day. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a guid in Tokyo. We had a great time at all the places he took as too and really went the extra mile helping us understand more about Japan, he even helped us with booking our Shinkansen tickets and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat.

Hi, Steven. Thank you for choosing me as a guide for the first day of your first visit to Japan. I'm happy if you enjoyed the day. Yanaka is one of my favorite towns, and your smiles in the antique shop, Mr. Allan West's workshop, Nezu shrine, and on the way brightened the day. Your Japanese tour is going on. Hope you two have a great holiday! -Tak

World's biggest drain

We had a great journey with Tak who was really flexible and helpful! He made real effort to figure out schedules and procedures to the sight we wanted even it definately wasn't the most typical sightseeing destination. He had even made us printed themed schedules :) One sort of accidental highlight was beautiful walk to the sight, and Tak did share his knowledge of local culture. We also got tips over where to go and what to do with the rest of our journey in Japan. Recommended ^_^

Thank you so much! It was an excellent experience, a day of long trains, long walks, long stairs (ups and downs), and fantastic views. Actually, I didn't know about the place. Not only as a guide but also as myself, I was excited at every moment in the underground world. I must apologize for fatiguing you, but your patience helped me. Thank you again, and I wish you would announce the name of Tak to people in your country. lol. Have a memorable holiday, keep safe, and don't walk too much. (Tak)

I am a bilingual local who lives in Japan and enjoys travelling myself. I don't have industry experience specific to tourism per se but do have experience welcoming/entertaining international guests visiting Japan for work. I genuinely love to help people visiting Japan have a fond memory and experience in Japan while they stay. Hello! My name is Grant, and I’ve spent over a decade living and exploring Japan. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I first came to Japan as a high school exchange student in Inuyama, a historic castle town in Aichi. My love for Japan began early—sparked by childhood games like Pokémon that were released in Japanese before English. This passion led me to pass the N2 Japanese Language Proficiency Test in 2018, study at language schools across Japan, and graduate from the Japan Visual Media Translation Academy. I’ve traveled to every prefecture in Japan, often using unlimited rail passes to explore castles, historic sites, and regional specialties. I hold a degree in Asian Studies from a Tokyo university, and my extensive experience living in Tokyo has made me an expert on the city’s transportation system, hidden gems, and affordable eats. With over 30 visits to Kyoto, I have deep knowledge of its historical sites and the broader cultural landscape of Japan. I studied at Japanese language school in Kyoto. I visited all the world heritage sites in Kyoto and have a lot of knowledge on the history of Japan. I can provide tours of Kyoto or places outside of Tokyo for an additional transportation fee. Tour options: Half-Day Tour: 20,000 yen (4 hours) Full-Day Tour: 40,000 yen (8 hours) Full-Day Tour Outside of Tokyo: 40,000 yen plus transportation expense
