About Tour Guide Tak Y.

Hi, my name is Tak.

I have seen travelers.

And, I found they got tired of typical sightseeing spots, like crowded temples and shrines.

There must be spots that fit your feelings and interests.

Then, I’d like to propose.

Why don’t you start a unique and original tour, only your heart goes?

.

I had guided

Pokemon tour

Ghost story tour

Inari Shrines tour

Live house tour

Bento (lunchbox) tour

Textile tour

Papermaking tour

I’ll search the site you want to see and create your unique itinerary.

First, could you give your message about things you want to do and see in Japan?

Let’s make a great time you can never forget.

Thank you so much.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

I live in SHITAMACHI, Tokyo, or an old residential town near ASAKUSA and UENO. My hobby is strolling. I walk around this area almost every day. I know even the smallest path, big and small museums, workshops of artisans, an impressive view of a gigantic tree, a beer bar in an impressive old house, unique souvenir shops, cats living in Yanaka, and many, many other attractive spots in this area.

You can expect a day that no one reads about in guidebooks.

So!

I hope you name me the navigator for your fantastic memory-making tour!!!!

I’m not so young, but I still love rock’n roll music. If you want to enjoy live music in Tokyo, I can also arrange the venue and occasion to suit your mood and boom.

Great tour!

Tak took us to the KK Garden and Ueno Park. He recommended skipping Asakusa to focus on the other two as we were a little short on time. That was a good call! We had a wonderful tour with him of two beautiful locations and then he saw us all the way to our afternoon group tour to make sure we got there in time. That was, again, a good call as we likely would have gotten lost! A true professional!

Thank you for a wonderful day. Koishikawa Korakuen is famous for its beautiful garden, but its various parts reflect hundreds of years of history and culture dating back to the Edo period. Therefore, it is a place that makes it very difficult for guides. I always struggle and try many different ways to explain it, but if its charm was conveyed to you, I would be truly happy. When you both visit Japan again, please contact me. I'll treat you to a beer if you like it.

Fun in Tokyo

Tak is a kind man who planned an itinerary to our interests and then adjusted it to our physical needs (area 80 and 90) and whims. The result was two delightful days in Tokyo with someone who could show us temples, talk baseball and take us to the Tokyo Dome, and get us in to visit the Tokyo National Museum and let us try a wide variety of street food.

The pleasant spring sunshine made our walk so peaceful. I would be happy if you could enjoy the days in Asakusa and Ueno, the towns I love. I only wish we'd had more time at the museum. I truly hope you return to Japan and discover more cultural treasures...and food, of course. I appreciate you and Mark from the bottom of my heart. See you again someday. Thank you!

Toyko sights

Our guide Tak has excellent knowledge and the use of the english language . Any questions we had he did not hesitate to answer. He went above and beyond to make our tour personalised to what we wanted to see and do . From the first inital contact months before our tour ,Tak was helping us and even went as far to look at our hotel for us. A very delightful person and i would highly recommend. Thank you Tak for being kind and friendly .kerry and Carl

Exactly! I know everything... except for the things I don't. Thank you for only asking the things I happened to know. I still remember your happy faces when you were crossing Shibuya Scramble and found pretty, impressive souvenirs. There's no more reward for me than the smiling faces of my guests. You gave me the best one. I wish you could return to Japan someday. Then, I'll take you to a splendid bar. Best regards, Tak
