“Fascinating visit to Asian side”
My husband and I had an extremely pleasant morning with Tunahan. As we were spending several days in Istanbul and were independently visiting the main tourist sites ourselves, we wanted to visit some more local areas with a guide and Tunahan took us to Üsküdar and Kadikoy on the Asian side. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his city, pointed out many interesting places and facts along the way. I highly recommend him.

“We toured the major sites of Istanbul on a day tour. We actually went over and it was no problem with a guide Muzafer.”
WE had a wonderful time with Muzaffer and kept him on his toes. We were 4 people who are very interested in history so we asked a lot of questions and wanted to see everything we could. Muzaffer was patient and accommodating.

“visit to Istanbul”
Susan K was fantastic. We had to adjust our schedule due to my wife being ill and my difficulty walking long distances. He knowledge of everything Istanbul was remarkable. I wanted to deviate, from our schedule to visit the eastern orthodox patriarchate. No problem. Susan was extremely knowledgeable about the Patriarchate and provided me with a greater appreciation of the church. I had to shorten our six hour tour to four but felt I accomplished a lot.

The best way to tour Istanbul is a combination of guided tours and independent exploration.
Yes, Istanbul is very much a walking city, especially in areas like Sultanahmet, where many of the major historical attractions are located within walking distance of each other.
The neighborhoods of Beyoglu, Karakoy, and Balat are also best explored on foot, allowing you to soak in the local atmosphere, discover quaint cafés, and enjoy the city's vibrant street life. However, due to its hilly terrain and sprawling size, you may need to use public transportation or taxis to cover longer distances.
To truly experience Istanbul and its main attractions, a minimum of 3 to 4 days is recommended. This allows you to visit key sites like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar, as well as enjoy a Bosphorus cruise and explore neighborhoods like Beyoglu and Kadikoy.
If you have more time, extending your stay to a week will enable you to delve deeper into the city’s cultural scene, visit lesser-known attractions, and take day trips to nearby destinations like the Princes' Islands.
