“Wonderfull Guide, Amazing energy”

When we travel we always get a guide for the first couple of days and our day Yağmur was great. I can not recommend her highly enough, she is energentic, insightfull, funny,great English and flexlible to what ever needs you have. We did the city highlights tour which was great, amazing knowledge. Her recommondation for the turkish bath was fantastic. (You have to do this, it was amazing), she also points out a few special shops in the Grand Bazaar which were great, and in full disclosure, she did take us to a rug store, turns out it wasnt just any rug store it was an experience that shows you how they are made from scratch, there is a bit of salemanship here but was great fun and you don't have to buy anything, although the handmade rug adorned with a beautifull horse has found a new home with us. Just book with Yağmur, you will have a great day.

“Wonderful experience!”

In November my husband and I booked Yagmur for a two day private guided tour to show us around Istanbul’s main historic sites. We wanted someone who was a story teller with a strong historical knowledge to help us understand the historical context of what we were seeing. First let me say, if you want to visit Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern, two days is the absolute minimum you should plan for and I do not recommend doing it without a guide. If we had not had Yagmur as our guide we would have been exhausted and not really appreciated what we saw. We visited them all in two days plus a both of other nooks and crannies and our experience was rich and vibrant. We learned so much about Istanbul and its history. Yagmur was also incredibly patient with me while I tried to photograph every cat in Istanbul and all of the tiles at Topkapi Palace. She is a wealth of knowledge, a great storyteller, has a good sense of humor and is very generous with her time and knowledge. You will not regret having her guide you through the magical city of Istanbul.
