Meeting Point
The Ritz
- We meet outside the Ritz hotel (W1J 9BR). Next to two red telephone boxes. Nearest underground station is Green Park.
Buckingham Palace
Your tour begins with a stroll through royal Green Park to Buckingham Palace - official residence of the King! Here, your guide will tell stories of the palace's long history.
(Pssst....want to see the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony? This is your chance! Book the 10am start time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, or any day in June & July)
The Mall
We then walk up The Mall, past Clarence House (where Prince Charles & Camilla stay when they are in London) & catch a glimpse of St James Palace. We will stop along the way to admire the various statues, historic buildings & monuments.
Trafalgar Square
You'll visit Westminster's most famous public square, built to commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar and the site of many famous British gatherings. See Nelson's Column and many other statues and historic buildings around the square.
Whitehall
Continue towards the political heart of London, passing Downing Street and the London Eye along the way.
Westminster Abbey
Next, you'll approach the iconic Westminster Abbey, where many Royal weddings, funerals, and coronations have taken place over centuries. Your guide will tell you stories of the abbey's past and the famous people buried here.
Parliament Square & Houses of Parliament
See famous statues including Winston Churchill in this historic square, and admire the impressive Houses of Parliament (Palace of Westminster) and Big Ben!
Travel to Windsor Castle
After your Westminster walking tour, your guide will say goodbye and give you directions to get to Windsor Castle by train.
Explore Windsor Castle
We've included your entry tickets and you can tour the magnificent castle and its gardens at your own pace. We recommend using the included audio guide to help you around this historic attraction, where the British Royal Family have spent much of their time for centuries!
You can travel back to London whenever you are ready.

*The tour will run in all weather so bring an umbrella or rain jacket

*Changing of the Guard will take place daily in June & July, otherwise only on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays (book 10am start time for this experience)
*Please note that your guide will not accompany you to Windsor Castle, but will give you directions and entry tickets
