Gur-Emir Mausoleum.

The Gur Emir Mausoleum is a luxurious family tomb of the Timurids. Amir Timur, his beloved grandsons Muhammad Sultan, Ulugbek and other family members are buried here. We will tell the story of the tomb and the legend associated with it.

Registan Square

Registan Square is the “business card” of Samarkand, located in the very heart of the old city. I will show three majestic buildings of the complex, personifying the highest achievements of medieval architects - the Ulugbek Madrasah, the Sher Dor Madrasah and the Tilla Kori Madrasah.

Bibi-Khanum Mosque

Bibi-Khanum Mosque - you will see a grand mosque decorated with tiles, carved marble and paintings, a symbol of the boundless love of Timur's wife for her husband.

Hazrat Khizr Mosque

Hazrat Khizr Mosque was reconstructed in the 19th century, replacing the one destroyed in the 13th century. The original mosque on this site dates back to the 8th century and this Mosque was built on the site of a Zoroastrian temple.

The Necropolis of Shahi Zinda

The Necropolis of Shahi Zinda is one of the most mysterious architectural monuments of Samarkand. You will be impressed by the string of elegant, sparkling blue tombs where royal persons and nobility are buried.

Ulugbek Observatory - we will tell you about the life and scientific methods of the great scientist, mathematician and astronomer Mirzo Ulugbek. You will learn how he managed to determine the coordinates of 1018 stars, which correspond to the data now calculated using modern technology.
