“Cairo with Nehal”

We booked Nehal to explore old Cairo, Giza, Dahsur & Sakkara and a last minute arranged visit to the Egyptian museum. Nehal is an experienced guide, local from Giza. She was very responsive upon initial contact and flexible with program and timing in order to satisfy our interests, happy to advice and support on shopping and dinner reservations, fluent in English and fun to travel with. Having a guide with good backgound knowledge is essential to appreciate the complex history and culture of Cairo/Egypt through the ages. Trying to fit old Cairo in 1d was not enough, would have loved to spend a bit more time visiting historic places in Islamic Cairo Giza was busy as expected. Having a guide is a timesaver The old Egyptian museum has no audioguide. A knowledgeable guide as Nehal gets you more value out of the visit. Dashur and Sakkara was definitely one of the highlights of the whole Egypt trip, inside pyramids without the crowds of Giza, beautiful non-royal tombs and a glimpse of countrylife on the way as a bonus We highly recommend Nehal as guide.

“Maryem is an excellent guide!!”

We enjoyed our 5 hour tour with Maryem as our guide immensely. She gave us a very informative and fascinating introduction of Ancient Egyptian history during our visit to the Egyptian Museum. Her very detailed, and insightful explanations of the antiquities brought these periods of history to life. We also visited two of the few remaining Synagogues that remain in downtown Cairo. She shared her very vast knowledge of this once very vibrant community with compassion and even a degree of nostalgia. It was obvious that she had done a great deal of research and special arrangements to facilitate our visits and make the experience meaningful. I highly recommend Maryem for any tour in Egypt.
