“Egyptian Museum - Guided in Comfort”
Marwa - Our English speaking guide. Was punctual, polite, friendly & informative. She made our 3-hour tour of the museum easy & didn’t overload us with too much unnecessary information. Skilfully she skipped rows & rows of little items that someone without a guide may wonder past not realising what to see & what to skip past. We finished the tour much better informed & felt it was money well spent. We were glad we had Marwa as our private guide & was much better than the larger groups we saw with a noisy guide shouting out information to a group of 10 or more. We didn’t really want to be following some flag waving guide around the museum. Some rooms, Marwa waited outside & we entered at our own pace, to see what she had just explained. “Una gu?a muy educada y paciente”
Shaimaa es una guía muy atenta, desde el primer contacto estuvo siempre ayudando y recomendado ideas para la visita. Yo reservé este tour como regalo para mis padres, y Shaimaa los ayudó en todo momento con el traslado del hotel para el tour, y estuvo con ellos un día entero. Fueron a las pirámides, a la esfinge, a la citadela y la mezquita. También visitaron tiendas de artesanía donde les explicaron el proceso de creación de los papiros. Mis padres quedaron muy contentos con la visita e impresionados con la destreza con la que Shaimaa habla español. Shaimaa también los llevó a comer a un muy buen restaurante junto al río Nilo, y les explicó toda la información necesaria sobre la ciudad. Ojalá para la próxima vez tengan una estadía más larga y puedan visitar también el Museo de El Cairo, que fue una de las pocas cosas que les quedó por visitar que no estaba incluído en el tour, porque ya era demasiado largo jajaja. Muchas gracias por la inolvidable experiencia, Shaimaa!
