Sunrise Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Tour By Private Car

This is one of the most preferred tours of Taj Mahal, witnessing it with the first light of the day. Erected in 17th century by 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died after childbirth. Apart from the Taj Mahal one can also see the majestic Agra fort which used to be the most beautiful & well preserved fort of India, erected in 16th century by Mughal Emperor Akbar. In this specific tour, one can explore Agra Fort and the Mughal capital city of Agra.

This tour starts at 05:00 AM.
I come to the hotel with driver & pick you for your tour of Taj Mahal. Eatables & smoking items are not allowed inside the monuments.
Taj Mahal
It is supposed to be the most beautiful example of expressing love by 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, erected in 17th century. It is the most photogenic monument in the world. You can have some awesome pictures for instagram.
Note: Taj Mahal is closed for tourists on every friday.
Marble Inlay Demonstartion
After finishing the tour of Taj Mahal, we will stop by to see the demonstration of marble inlay art which is done by the direct descendants of those artists who worked for Taj Mahal. They make some beautiful marble souvenirs.
We go back to the hotel to have breakfast
After seeing the Taj Mahal & Marble inlay demonstration, we go back to hotel for breakfast & for some rest.
Move on to Agra Fort
After breakfast, you will be taken to Agra Fort, which is a majestic fort built on a top with red sand stone & white marble. It was built in 16th & 17th century by Mughal Emperors Akbar, Jahangir & Shah Jahan. It has some eye opening palaces. in this fort Shah Jahan was believed to have breathed last after he was house arrested by his own son.
Finish tour of Agra Fort
After concluding the tour of Agra Fort, we come back to hotel.

1. Eatables & Smoking Items are not allowed inside Taj Mahal.
2. Drones, Tripod & any kind of banner are strictly prohibited inside Taj Mahal.
3. We recommend you not to carry any bags because you will have get it scanned & for that you will have to stand in the queue, it takes lot of time.
4. Water Bottles, Shoe covers, Camera, Mobile phone & money are allowed inside the Taj Mahal & other monuments.
5. Gasoline vehicles are not allowed to drop you at the entrance of Taj Mahal, so there are battery operated golf carts are available at parking.
6. There are clean western toilets in the monuments.
7. Wheelchair accessible.
8. There is a baby feeding room in the Taj Mahal.

We engaged Mohsin K as our guide for our Agra trip and it was one of the best parts of the trip . His Knowledge of History ,architecture & Culture was excellent and he was able to provide a context when we visited Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. It really helped us to go back in time and visualize how things must have been four hundred years back. He was very accommodating to senior members in our group. We wish we had more time to see other monuments with him in and around Agra.
