Sham Valley Trek is one of the most straightforward treks in Leh and Ladakh. Another name for it is Baby Trek. Sham Valley Trek has a somewhat weird feel about it. Visit Buddhist monasteries in Leh, learn about Ladakh's culture, and stay in a local homestay. The Sham Valley hiking paths will take you past some beautiful settlements like Hemis Shukpachan, which is nestled in a dense grove of Cedar trees.

This day you will be spent exploring Leh, including a visit to the Leh Palace, which includes historic treasures from the sixteenth-century monarch of Ladakh. A visit to the monasteries of Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis will be scheduled at noon.
On this day, you will travel to Likir. Your hike will begin in Likir Village (3650 metres). Despite the short distance, the route is hot, with no cover or water, and requires crossing two passes. The road leads west from Likir to Phobe La (3580m), and beyond that to Sumdo hamlet. The route ascends slowly until you reach Chagatse La. (3630m). Across the pass lies Yangthang (3630m), where you may sleep close to a creek for the night.
Today's hike is easy because both the approach and descent have modest grades. The route starts north, descends for a short distance, crosses a creek, and then climbs west to Tsermangchen La. (3750m). You descend to HemisShukpachen after a little respite at the pass. You will trek through several beautiful streams, bordered by shaded willows and huge barley fields, adding a splash of color to the otherwise barren, stony slopes.
This is again another uncomplicated day. The path ascends between two hillocks west of town before turning south and reaching the Mebtak La (3750m), which is marked with prayer flags. After crossing across the pass, you'll spend the night in Ang, a charming village with apricot orchards.
This is the final day, and it's a breeze since it's all downwards all the way to the main road. A vehicle would transport you from Temisgam to Leh. Check into the hotel upon arrival. In the evening you can explore the local market there.
On this day, you will be transferred from your hotel to the Leh airport, where you will take your flight to Delhi. Where will you board your international flight returning to your country.
