I received a license in 2016 from the Korea Tourism Organization as a qualified professional tour guide. I have guided a variety of tours for people and tourists from all over the world and have been doing so for over 9 years. Before being a tour guide I spent most of my career working in the banking industry for almost 30 years, starting with Korea First Bank which later became a US based Newbridge Capital and UK based Standard Chartered Bank until I retired in 2016. My experience in the banking industry was very much customer-first and dealing with the public which laid the cornerstone and passion to becoming a tour guide. After retiring from the bank, I worked as a lecturer for a volunteering organization run by the local public office and taught students about the environment and disabilities. With various experiences and personal management skills, these challenges have provided a real life, hands on cultural nuances which will promote friendship and expand life experiences between different cultures. I'm based in Seoul but will be happily arrange the tours to Busan, Gyeongju, Sokcho, Jeonju etc. as a customized tour. Feel free to drop me a request message.

Andy provided an enjoyable and informative tour. His itinerary flowed well, and provided a look at a variety of interesting neighborhoods in Seoul that all had their own distinct character. “Terrific day on Jeju Island with Chanie”
We are in our 70s, and we were on day 20 of iur cruise. We wanted to have a relaxing and easy-going day, yet still see some of the main highlights. Channie was wonderful in setting an easy pace. We started along the shore road, seeing Gimnyeong Beach and then stopped for coffee. We then went to Sunrise Peak, which was amazing. Then to an old village which remains a working village. We enjoyed a terrific day and highly recommend Chanie for a tour in Jeju. J&T

“Amazing day in Busan!”
We had a wonderful day with Arthur! Even though we only had a short time in Busan, he made sure we saw all the main highlights. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and explained the significance of each location. He recommended some amazing food, and took lots of great photos of us in beautiful places. Hope to see him again before we turn 108 years old!
