Just completed multiple-day tours with Kwan and I cannot say enough — he is without question the best tour guide I have ever had, anywhere in the world. Book with complete confidence. Yes, his tours are exceptional — the DMZ, the War Memorial, the markets — all extraordinary. But what truly sets Kwan apart has nothing to do with the itinerary. It is his heart. He doesn't see you as a customer. He sees you as a guest in his country, and he treats you like family from the moment you meet him. The stories say it all. He remembered that my colleague's wife had mentioned she loved a particular local food — and on his own time, with no prompting, he went out of his way to buy it and personally drop it off at her hotel. Not during a tour, another day of their visit, just because he wanted to make sure she got to enjoy it. He learned early on that I have a deep passion for food and markets. So he offered — completely unprompted — to pick me up at 5:45 in the morning to take me behind the scenes at the markets before they opened to the public. To meet the families. To see how it all works before the tourists arrive. It was one of the most memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences of my entire life. Something I never would have had without him. That is Kwan. He goes so far beyond the tour that the tour almost becomes secondary to the experience of spending time with him. “Outstanding family tour with Changwoo ”

Changwoo was an exceptional guide and made our family’s day truly memorable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and genuinely entertaining throughout the tour. Travelling as a family of four, we really appreciated how flexible he was and how he adjusted the experience to suit our needs and pace We visited and experienced some great places. His vehicle was immaculate, spacious and extremely clean, making the journey comfortable and relaxing. Changwoo’s knowledge,and warm personality made the entire experience fun. Juhee was great before I even stepped foot in South Korea. She reached out early to ask what I had in mind so she could tailor the tour to my pace and interests. She was attentive trying to make sure what was the best possible park to visit and physically went out to scout our original location at Ichon Han River Park days in advance. When she saw active construction and no convenience stores near by, she messaged me and suggested pivoting to Banpo Han River Park instead. She reached out again to suggest moving our time slot from 2:00 PM to 4:00–8:00 PM so I wouldn't miss the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain. We were able to watch the sunset over the Han River, cooked classic convenience ramen, grabbed a beer and caught the synchronized music and light show right from the riverbank. Juhee was attentive in teaching me how to navigate the subway and remarkably considerate adjusting our experience as we moved through the park. Booking her as my guide for my first real walk through South Korea outside the airport or the hotel was one of the best decisions of my trip. Truly six-stars!
