Reviews

Extremely comfortable, easy and informative.

Kwan was an excellent host and guide. He was prompt, professional and extremely friendly. Our day was seamless and easy. A day tour to DMV is a big day but Kwan made it as comfortable and as informative as possible. His car is super luxurious and Kwan took care of us very well. Kwan has perfect English and shares lots of information throughout the day. He also gave me excellent tips for Seoul, restaurant recommendations and Korean skincare shopping. I would recommend Kwan as a guide for anyone visiting Seoul.

Thank you so much, Kathleen and Graham, for your wonderful review. I’m truly glad to hear that you enjoyed the DMZ tour and felt comfortable throughout the day. It was a pleasure preparing everything for you, and I’m happy the tips and recommendations were helpful during your time in Seoul. I hope the rest of your trip in Korea is filled with great food, memorable experiences, and smooth adventures. Wishing you both many more amazing journeys ahead. Kwan

Three Days in Seoul With Kwan Was Amazing

We spent three incredible days exploring Seoul with Kwan. He is incredibly knowledgeable and communicative. Best of all, he is just fun to be with – it’s like having your Korean cousin take you around. His car is clean and comfortable. We asked him to show us “historic” Korea (history, culture and lifestyle) and “New” Korea, and he delivered above and beyond, including a one-of-a-kind Chicken & Beer Picnic along the Han River (a very “Seoul” thing to do). I simply cannot recommend Kwan highly enough. He’s simply the best!

Scott, thank you so much for your wonderful review. Guiding you and Cindy truly felt like spending time with long‑lost friends — the way you described me as your “Korean cousin” made my day. Every moment with you both was comfortable, fun, and genuinely enjoyable, and seeing you experience and love Korea the way you did meant a lot to me. I hope you’ll come back again, this time with your sons. And yes — let’s definitely make that fishing trip happen next time. I’ll be ready.

Two Lovely Days Exploring a Different Side of Seoul

I had two lovely days exploring Seoul with Kwan J. He took me beyond the usual sights and showed me places full of character that I would never have discovered on my own — from the old industrial heart of the city to hidden alleys, cozy cafés like 커피한약방, with its old-Seoul, tucked-away charm, and unique spots like Dilkusha and the house of Hong Nan-pa, which added such an interesting cultural layer to the experience. The conversations were just as enjoyable as the sightseeing — relaxed, interesting, and full of insight into the history, culture, and everyday life in Korea. It felt like spending time with someone who really loves sharing their city.
