“A++ — do not hesitate for a single second. Book him!”
Just completed multiple-day tours with Kwan and I cannot say enough — he is without question the best tour guide I have ever had, anywhere in the world. Book with complete confidence. Yes, his tours are exceptional — the DMZ, the War Memorial, the markets — all extraordinary. But what truly sets Kwan apart has nothing to do with the itinerary. It is his heart. He doesn't see you as a customer. He sees you as a guest in his country, and he treats you like family from the moment you meet him. The stories say it all. He remembered that my colleague's wife had mentioned she loved a particular local food — and on his own time, with no prompting, he went out of his way to buy it and personally drop it off at her hotel. Not during a tour, another day of their visit, just because he wanted to make sure she got to enjoy it. He learned early on that I have a deep passion for food and markets. So he offered — completely unprompted — to pick me up at 5:45 in the morning to take me behind the scenes at the markets before they opened to the public. To meet the families. To see how it all works before the tourists arrive. It was one of the most memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences of my entire life. Something I never would have had without him. That is Kwan. He goes so far beyond the tour that the tour almost becomes secondary to the experience of spending time with him. A genuine human being with a passion for sharing his country and caring for the people he meets. A++ — do not hesitate for a single second. Book him.

Ganesh, thank you so much for your incredible review. I’m truly grateful for your kind words. Guiding you, David, and Brian over those two days — and spending another day with Brian’s family — was such a joy for me. Seeing you all happy, surprised, and fully enjoying each moment is exactly why I love this work. You made these days unforgettable, and you’ve even given me a good reason to visit New York someday. Thank you again for everything.

“Impeccable DMZ Tour and Street Food Experience”
Highly recommend Kwan! He made every step of our tour as easy as could be. He acted as our family photographer and got us great photos at the DMZ. In the market, he steered us to the best street food and even told us what not to buy when it didn’t look fresh. Kwan will go above and beyond to make sure that your trip is the best.

Thank you so much, Brian. It was truly my pleasure guiding you and your lovely family throughout the day. I was also very happy to help with everything you needed along the way. Our time at the local market was especially memorable — I’m glad you enjoyed the Korean street food! We picked gimbap, chicken nuggets, shrimp tempura, and dumplings, and we finished them all together. Thank you again for choosing my tour, and I hope to welcome you back to Seoul someday.

“Layover experience with Kwan ”
My experience with Kwan in South Korea was nothing short of amazing. For the moment he picked me up. I felt safe, secure, and in great hands. He was very insightful with so much knowledge in history, and answered all the questions that I had. He made my time in Seoul productive, fulfilled, and a lot of fun. I truly don’t think my experience would’ve been the same if it was with a different tour guide. He made the process so easy from the beginning until the end and was very considerate through the whole way. I would recommend him to everyone that wants to explore South Korea. Thank you for being such a genuine, humble and enlightening person Kwan. I hope I get to see you again next time I go visit. I truly appreciate your hard work and it doesn’t go unnoticed! Wishing you the best always !

Thank you so much for your beautiful review. Guiding you during your layover was truly a delightful experience for me as well. From picking you up at the airport and sharing a comforting bowl of soup in the morning, to helping you with the hanbok, walking together through the palace, taking photos, and ending the day with a bit of K‑beauty fun—each moment felt meaningful because of your warm and open spirit. I’m grateful that you trusted me with your short time in Seoul. My hope was simply to curate a genuine experience for you, and I’m very touched that it resonated with you. Your kindness, curiosity, and positive energy made the day special for me too. Thank you again for your thoughtful words. I truly appreciate them, and I hope our paths cross again when you return to Korea. Wishing you all the best always.
