“Personalized tour”
I had so much fun with my quick Korean tour with Ari as the guide. I told her what I expected and we just went with the flow. Ari just picked up when my original guide could not make it. I appreciate her for that. At first, I was disappointed because my original guide had made specific itinerary and Ari thought it was a lot for a 6 hour period going from 1 place to another. Of course, she did not realize that all I want is really just to get photos here and there. Digging the history and knowing more about Korea will be another time as I was just there for a layover. When Ari and I met, it all just went flawless. It is like I am traveling with a friend. We even ended with a lot of free time before our time ends and we just spent drinking our Starbucks at the Star field mall watching people. I would highly recommend Ari. I would use go with guide again for sure.

I was truly touched to the point of tears by your heartfelt review. I often find myself reminiscing about the day we spent together as well. Especially the quiet moments we shared, sitting in Starfield, watching people go by, and chatting — those memories remain such a warm and unforgettable part of my heart. I also felt genuinely happy to be able to take beautiful photos for you. Just as you said, it truly felt like traveling with a dear friend, and I was filled with joy and gratitude throughout our time together. As we saw at the temple, perhaps this too was fate. I sincerely wish you and your family continued happiness and peace. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

“Amazing tour with an amazing guide”
Spent a lovely day with Kwan visiting the DMZ. His car was a beautiful new Kia SUV which was very comfortable. Kwans knowledge of the DMZ was impressive and I learned a great deal. Kwan is both very personable and very fluent in English which made the day all the much better. I highly recommend if you are looking for an elevated experience.

It was truly my great pleasure as well, Erik. I especially enjoyed our conversations—sharing what I like to call “old man's ideas,” since we’re both in our late 50s and seemed to have so much in common. Those small moments of connection made the day even more memorable. Wishing you continued meaningful adventures ahead, Warm regards, Kwan

March to May and September to November are often considered ideal travel months because of the mild weather and slightly lower crowds, but Seoul has something to offer all year round.
Don’t tip your guide in South Korea. Why? Because it carries a different cultural meaning than in other countries. In Korea, it can be taken as rude and offensive. As if you’re insulting the person by calling them poor. Instead, leave them a five star review and refer their services to other travelers.

English is widely understood in Seoul, but people in Seoul are less likely to speak fluent English. The proficiency rate in Seoul is 580, which is moderate. The remedy? Speak slowly and learn some common phrases, or get a local guide to help deepen your interaction with locals. You might even make a new friend!
