Amazing Seoul with Kwan J.

Touring with Kwan was the best. He is the consummate professional tour guide. From pick-up to drop- off at our hotel, Kwan did an amazing job of driving, guiding and educating us about this vibrant metropolis. His knowledge of the sights we visited was impressive and provided us with a better understanding of South Korea. He made sure at all times that we were well cared for. Our visit to the National Folk Museum was extremely interesting. So much to see ! Kwan took us to a wonderful Korean restaurant where we had the most divine dumplings and Korean noodle soup. The visit to the Changdeokgung Palace was inspiring, especially watching the visitors who were dressed in traditional Korean dress. Because of our limitations, Kwan was very considerate and redirected our tour to be less physically demanding and provided an interesting drive around of nearly two hours to see the city sights from the comfort of his luxury vehicle. We highly recommend Kwan to be your guide In Seoul.

Wishing you both continued health and happiness—and I truly hope to welcome you back to Korea again someday!

Kwan is the best of the best!

From the initial reservation with “Go With Guide”, Kwan’s communication and follow-up was outstanding. Our tour with Kwan to the DMZ was very interesting and Kwan made it doable for us to visit a bucket list location. Due to our physical challenges we needed to go at a slower pace and Kwan was exceptionally kind and considerate. Kwan’s transportation to the DMZ was extremely nice and we truly valued his driving skills in the Seoul traffic. Since it was a midday tour we appreciated him bringing snacks for us. His prearrangements for the tour tickets to the DMZ saved time and effort on our part. His knowledge of all of the sights on the tour was exceptional. Kwan is a gem and we would advise anyone to book a tour with him!

Thank you both for embracing the experience with such warmth and curiosity—it was an honor to share Korea’s stories with you! Warmest regards, Kwan

Make your trip to Korea a success - get Kwan to help you!

Here you have the perfect guide to organise your trip. He can help with as much or as little as you need for visiting Korea. In my case it was a one day trip to visit historical sites in Andong province. He adapted the agenda to fit what I wanted. Provided valuable insights and details on each location positioning it historically as well as some important events in its history. The first site we visited was a Confucian University set up in the Josean Period which is in a beautiful location and has a really calm and relaxing feel in the middle of nature. We also visited an important temple in the hills before having a very good lunch. A big highlight of the tour for me was the Masked Dance in the Hanok village. The context was explained in advance and it consisted of a series of sketches which were comical and satirizing. Translation of what the players were saying were displayed on a screen in English, Chinese and Japanese which made a big difference in following and understanding the sketch. It is definitely worth a visit but be aware that you need to queue early as only 200 people are allowed into the show. Andong is almost two hours by train away from Seoul. Kwan made the trip very easy by arranging the train tickets, having some water and food for the train trip as well as being a very interesting conversationalist, arranging for a car in Andong and then driving to each location. So you can put yourself in his hands and just enjoy the trip and the sites as he has covered all the details.

Thank you so much, Gerry, for your kind review! It was truly my pleasure to spend the day with you. You were a wonderful guest—so gentle, understanding, and engaging throughout our time together. I also deeply appreciated the opportunity to learn more about Ireland and the issues close to your heart. It was a meaningful exchange for me, and I’m grateful for the connection we shared.
