I am spanish woman, History degree and master in American Anthropology, working as a guide in Granada since 2010 (Oficial licensed guide in Andalucia) Before then I have lived in different countries such as Paraguay and thee Netherlands and have had scholarships in New York and Paris to learn English and French language. For a period of a year I was working in the luxurious train Al Andalus that travels around Andalucia, as a guide first and as the train manager after. At the moment I am home based in Granada and I work as a guide mainly in this city. I love to be a guide so I can provide a nice, interesting and empathic perspective of Granada and its monuments, its society and its history.

Hello! My name is Manu. I am master architect, master in Historical Construction Techniques and licenced guide. I studied architecture in Granada and during the degree I also worked as urban photography teacher and editor in an arts magazine. I finished in 2015 and I did an internship in Yokohama National University in Japan. After that I worked for the structures department of the University of Castilla La Mancha, where I did some restorations and started working with heritage architecture. In 2018 I started my own architecture studio and got an official guiding licence. Since then I work running my own projects and collaborating with different companies while showing the Andalusian architecture , heritage, history and urbanism in the cities of Granada, Sevilla, Guadix and Málaga.

“OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE -- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!”
Mercedes provided my wife and I an informative, interesting and illuminating tour of the Alhambra palace and gardens complex. Her knowledge of the history was impressive, and she new little details about life in medieval times that were very interesting. Her English is outstanding, and her international experiences come through in her perspectives and the discussions that we had with her during the tour. She also provided information that we used on our visit to Burgos later in our trip. We highly recommend her -- she goes above and beyond what we expect from tour guides. Thanks again, Mercedes!

“Excellent combined Alhambra and city tour”
Asier is an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and a nice friendly person with excellent English. He is able to answer any question you have and catered to our teens as well as the adults very well. We especially appreciated his communication and flexibility in planning our tour. We particularly recommend doing his city tour with the tour of the Alhambra, he showed us things that we would not have found or understood without a guide and it really added to our understanding of the history of Granada.
