Onyar coloured houses
This is the most famous view of Girona: the colourfull houses located above the Onyar river. They were painted 40 years ago inspired by the Italian city of Florence.
Saint Pere Galligants
It's a Romanesque building dating back to XII C. Nowadays houses the Archeological museum and stil preserves the church and the cloister from XII Century.
Cathedral square
On top fo the hill is located the Cathedral that presides the square.
The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Girona is the main religious building in town and has the widest Gothic nave in the world. There is the option to visit it. The entrane fee is 7,50 EUR per person.
City walls
These walls were built in the XIV C, after the order of King Peter the Cerimonious.
The walls are 1km long and there is the option to walk along them.
From this location you will enjoy a stunning view of the all Girona town.
Jewish quarter
The Jewish quarter of Girona is considered to be one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Spain. In this part of the city, the Jewish community lived for six centuries. Its made up of lovely narrow streets and medieval patios.
There is the option to visit the Jewish History Museum, that includes the best Spanish collection of matsevot and the last micvà of the gironinian community. Entrance fee is 2€ per person.
La Rambla
The main pedestrian street in town with cozy atmosphere, full of cafés and shops. Rambla has a group of nice stone arches and medieval houses.
