It was designed and created by himself. It's not a conventional museum at all.

Girona old quarter
Let's enjoy the most famous view of Girona: the houses with different colours located above the Onyar river.
Saint Felix square
We will know the history behind the Lioness sculpture, which is very popular in town.
And we can admire the church of Saint Felix and discover the architecture of this religious building.

Saint Peter Galligants square
It's a Romanesque building dating back to XII C. Nowadays houses the Archeological museum.
Cathedral's square
The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Girona is the main religious building in town and has the widest Gothic nave in the world.
Ticket fee is not included. The price is 7,50 EUR per person.
Jewish quarter
This is the area of Girona where the Jewish community lived for six centuries. Its made up of lovely narrow streets and medieval patios. We will discover where the old synagogues where located, which activities did the Jewish people and where they lived.
La Rambla
The Rambla is the main pedestrian street in town with cozy atmosphere. Full of cafés and shops.
Independence square
End of the Girona tour.
Now it's time for a coffee or for lunch.
In the Independence square there are many cafés and restaurants.
Lunch is not included.

Figueres
We arrive to Figueres city.
Dalí Museum of Figueres
We enter the Dalí Museum and visit "the biggest surrealist work of art in the world".
We enjoy a guided tour of the main rooms of the Museum: the patio with the Cadillac, the former stage, the Peixateries room, the Mae West room, the Palace of the Wind, etc.

The train Avant costs 17,90 EUR per person go an return from Girona to Figueres.

How to get Figueres:
From Barcelona:
The Dalí Museum of Figueres is located 140kms north from Barcelona.
By car it's about 1hour and 30 minutes drive plus find the Parking. In total the trip takes 2 hours.
I recommend to take the high speed train AVE called "Avant". From Barcelona to Figueres/Vilafant is only 55 minutes. The price is 37€ go and return.
From Girona:
Dalí's Museum is located 35kms north from Girona city.
By car it's about 40 minutes plus find the car Parking. In total the trip takes 1 hour.
Best option is the high speed train called "Avant" that only takes 15 minutes. The price is 12€ go and return.

If you take the train, I recomend the "Avant" train that arrives to Figueres/Vilafant at 9.10h or the train that arrives at 10.05h.
Once you are in Figueres/Vilafant train station, you have two options:
- take a taxi to Dalí's Museum
or walk 20 minutes
