Memorable one-day tour of Nagasaki

Yoshi is an exceptional tour guide in Nagasaki! A local with impeccable English and extensive knowledge of her city, she made our day trip truly memorable. She thoughtfully answered all our questions and crafted a one-day itinerary that included all the highlights—Atomic Bomb Museum, Mt. Inasa, Dejima, and more. Highly recommended!

I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to write such a lovely review. Your kind words mean a lot to me. I am so glad you chose Nagasaki as a stop on your Kyushu trip. I hope you were able to see some of the other amazing things Nagasaki prefecture offers, like the beautiful Goto Islands or the Unzen hot springs. I would love to welcome you back again someday. I hope you two liked "kakuni manjyu", Nagasaki specialty! Please extend my best to your wife. Warmly, Yoshi

Exception Guide for Nagasaki

Yoshi was an exceptional guide for our visit to Nagasaki. She tailored our tour for the day to what we wanted to see and informed us of some very unique sites that we were unaware of. She is relatable and brought history to life with every site that we visited, including very touching personal stories from people she knew who were survivors of the terrible bombing in 1945. The pace of her walking tour was 100% appropriate for our group and I suspect she would cater that to whomever she is showing around. She also assisted us with translation and in directing taxi cabs to the sites we visited. We could not have asked for a more comprehensive tour. 100% satisfied with the time we spent together. Yoshi impressed us with her depth of knowledge, patience and attention to what our group wanted to see and she was flexible when time constraints and weather forced a change to our original plan. An excellent guide for Nagasaki!

Thank you for taking the time to write a wonderful review for me. I am so humbled to receive your genuine heartfelt compliment! I also enjoyed talking with you all and appreciate that you listened so attentively. I hope all of the Pens, Noren, cat's goods, a watch band, wind chime and so on that you bought in the shopping mall yesterday will remind you of Nagasaki. Once again, I am grateful for hiring me as your guide and visiting Nagasaki. Please give my regards to everyone. Yoshi

Nagasaki day tour

Yoshi was very helpful in setting up the tour for us including telling us which trains to take from Hakata since Nagasaki was a day trip for us. She was very flexible in the scheduling of the sights and also, gave us recommendations of what to see. We went to the Atomic Bomb Museum, Oura Cathedral, Inasayama Observatory and the 26 Martyrs memorial. Yoshi was very informative on all of these sites and also, gave us more insight to other things we saw along the way. Noriko was also very helpful finding a lunch restaurant that could accomodate our son's food allergies. We were very happy with the tour and would highly recommend her.

I appreciate the time you’ve committed to providing me with detailed and nice feedback. I am very happy to know you had a good time with me. About the lunch, thanks to your son's choice, I also tried a new dish. It was delicious and an interesting experience for me. Thank you! I hope you will visit Japan again in near future. Best wishes, Yoshi

Hi! I'm Sho! I live in the center of Nagasaki city and work as a YouTuber, podcaster, and tour guide specializing in sharing the charms of Nagasaki. Actually, I was born and raised in Yokohama, near Tokyo, and worked for about 5 years in Tokyo. However, I fell in love with the culture and history of Nagasaki and moved here in 2020. Nagasaki has a rich history of international exchange and friendship, established about 450 years ago as an international trading port in Japan. Since then, many people from all over the world with diverse cultures and values have visited this city. I love these stories and histories of Nagasaki. Nagasaki is often associated with the sad history of the atomic bomb, which is, of course, an important part of this city's history, but Nagasaki has much more than that. I'm looking forward to introducing you to the many charms of Nagasaki!

Thank you for taking the time to read my greeting! My name is Katsuhisa, but please feel free to call me Katsu. :) My philosophy is rooted in my catchphrase: "Quick and flexible hospitality." Before becoming a guide, I worked as a salesperson, introducing customers to beautiful furniture across various Japanese cities. That experience taught me how to present products and ideas in a way that is both engaging and memorable—a skill I now bring to my role as a guide. However, I am more than just a guide; I am your concierge. Whether it's tailoring an itinerary to your specific interests or preparing seamless experiences with meticulous attention to detail, my goal is to provide you with a journey that exceeds expectations. I am deeply passionate about sharing the unique charm of Nagasaki, Fukuoka, and Japan as a whole, while honoring the culture and places that shaped who I am today. Let me craft an experience that is both enlightening and truly unforgettable. Thank you, and I look forward to welcoming you! :)
