“Great one day tour”
Toshiko was a wonderful guide. Having grown up in Nagasaki with her family she shared her personal experience. Together we made a tour that fit our interests very well.

Thank you so much for the lovely review. It was truly a pleasure showing you around Nagasaki. We did a lot of walking, though! I hope you've had a chance to rest. Please stay healthy, and I would love for you both to visit Japan, and Nagasaki, again. I sincerely look forward to your next visit. Best regards, Yoshi

“Absolutely wonderful tour of Nagasaki with Yoshiko”
My wife and I just returned from a 5-hour tour of Nagasaki, and we both agreed that this was the best tour we have ever experienced (and we have taken many). Prior to the tour date we made numerous revisions to the tour and Yoshiko was very flexible and patient with us. Her English is impeccable - absolutely no communication problems. And she knows all there is to know about Nagasaki. She met us outside the Viking cruise disembarkation area, and brought us by taxi to our first destination, a beautiful Shinto Shrine. From there we walked through lovely neighborhoods and visited many local shrines and temples. We avoided all the typical tourist destinations and saw sites we never would have found on our own. After a pleasant light lunch and more neighborhood sightseeing we ended at Glover Gardens - which is lovely, with breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Yoshiko shared many fascinating stories. We will never forget our day in Nagasaki with our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide Yoshiko.

Thank you so much for hiring me as your guide this time! I'm also deeply honored and truly appreciate this wonderful review. I am so glad to know you both enjoyed this Nagasaki tour with me. Also, I really enjoyed our conversations. Getting a sense of your personalities through our talks, I felt you are a truly lovely couple. We certainly walked a lot during the tour! I hope you are not too tired now. Please take it easy and relax. Please do give her a big "hi" from me. I hope to see you both some day again ! Best wishes, Yoshi

“Nagasaki Pilgrimage Tour With Yoshiko”
We had a wonderful experience with Yoshiko (Yoshi) as our private tour guide in Nagasaki. She tailored the tour to our interests, taking us to meaningful sites such as Urakami Cathedral, Nyokodo, the Nagai Takashi Memorial Museum, Nishizaka (St. Philip) Church, the 26 Martyrs Museum and Relics, Nakamachi Catholic Church, the Lourdes Grotto at Hongomachi Church, and more. She also made it possible for us to attend Mass at St. Philip’s as we had hoped. Yoshi was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and always attentive to our pace, while also keeping us right on schedule. She even went above and beyond by helping us secure train and bus tickets for the next part of our journey. Yoshi was truly one of the best guides we had during our trip to Japan, and we highly recommend her to anyone visiting Nagasaki.

Hi! I'm Sho! I live in the center of Nagasaki city and work as a YouTuber, podcaster, and tour guide specializing in sharing the charms of Nagasaki. Actually, I was born and raised in Yokohama, near Tokyo, and worked for about 5 years in Tokyo. However, I fell in love with the culture and history of Nagasaki and moved here in 2020. Nagasaki has a rich history of international exchange and friendship, established about 450 years ago as an international trading port in Japan. Since then, many people from all over the world with diverse cultures and values have visited this city. I love these stories and histories of Nagasaki. Nagasaki is often associated with the sad history of the atomic bomb, which is, of course, an important part of this city's history, but Nagasaki has much more than that. I'm looking forward to introducing you to the many charms of Nagasaki!

Hi there! I’m Armand. Living in Nagasaki since 2016. I am living a most relaxing life on my permaculture homestead in the hills of Nagasaki, where you get the best views in Japan. I love my town. As a dancer and actor I love telling stories too. And there are so many great stories to share about all the interesting people that once dwelled in this adventurous town full of historical intrigues. Want to experience the rich Nagasaki culture? Eat the freshest fish of Japan? Make the most beautiful photos of hidden treasures and landscapes? Come and explore the town together with me. I’ve made it my mission to get to know everything there is to know about this place.

Hi, I’m glad you found my page! I’m a local guide based in Kyushu who loves sharing the region’s history, food, and landscapes in a relaxed and friendly way. Think of me as someone who can make your trip comfortable and memorable, while keeping things easygoing and fun. I began guiding to share the history, scenery, and food of my home with visitors from around the world. Before this, I worked in luxury retail, where I learned how important details and genuine hospitality are. Now I bring that same spirit to my tours, making sure every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and free to enjoy their journey. I specialize in private car tours around Kyushu, so you don’t have to worry about train schedules or carrying luggage. We can stop where you like, take things at your own pace, and enjoy the scenery along the way. Onboard you’ll have free Wi-Fi, music, and a comfortable ride—perfect for families, couples, or friends who want both convenience and a touch of luxury. Some of my favorite places to share are: Nagasaki: Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Museum, and the city’s cultural blend Fukuoka: Dazaifu Shrine, city highlights, and Yanagawa’s river cruise with eel dishes Kumamoto: Mt. Aso’s volcanic views, Kumamoto Castle, and Kurokawa Onsen Oita: Hita’s riverside town, plus Beppu and Yufuin hot springs Saga: Arita’s ceramics and the Yoshinogari ancient site Takachiho Gorge: A mystical canyon tied to Japanese legends What I enjoy most is helping guests discover both famous sights and hidden corners of Kyushu, while keeping the experience comfortable and stress-free. Whether you’re drawn to culture, food, history, or beautiful scenery, I can adjust the plan to match your style. I’d love to share my part of Japan with you and create memories that last long after your trip. If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to send me a message. I look forward to welcoming you to Kyushu and showing you what makes this region so special!
