“Awesome Hidden Christians tour and great guide ”

We had a great time in the Hirado area. Beautiful scenery to go along with the sad history of the Hidden Christians. Hiro was a great guide for this area. He started out with a great itinerary. But he was very flexible in adapting to our specific requests, which made for a very challenging and packed itinerary. The biggest challenge was the logistics. Hiro made it work. He carefully planned the logistics ahead of time and kept us on schedule. And he added tremendous insight based on his knowledge of the region, the people and history. We can't recommend Hiro and the Hirado area tour of the Hidden Christian sites enough. Thanks for everything. We had a great and fulfilling time.

Normally, this tour will be a one-day tour, but Hirado & Ikitsuki area is far from big city like Nagasaki and Sasebo, so it will be rushed sometimes if I cover many places in this area. You provided me 2 days and accommodation in Hirado, so I could do the tour very effectively and completed your requested places in this area. And also I could take you to the 26 martyrs related place in my hometown, too. It is not on the list, but I wanted you to visit there. Both of you are very eager to visit and understand Hidden-Christian history and local culture, so I tried to explain and introduce them as much as I could. As for the UNESCO-designated Hidden Christian World Heritage sites, we saw and visited 2 of 12, such as Nakaeno-shima, Kasuga community & Mt. Yasuman. There are 10 more UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites in this area. If you have another opportunity to visit them in the future, please let me know. Best regards, Hero

“Great Guide, Great Tour ”

Sho is a great guide. He had a very good plan for sites but was very flexible in adapting to our specific tour objectives.
