Hi! I'm Sho! I live in the center of Nagasaki city and work as a YouTuber, podcaster, and tour guide specializing in sharing the charms of Nagasaki. Actually, I was born and raised in Yokohama, near Tokyo, and worked for about 5 years in Tokyo. However, I fell in love with the culture and history of Nagasaki and moved here in 2020. Nagasaki has a rich history of international exchange and friendship, established about 450 years ago as an international trading port in Japan. Since then, many people from all over the world with diverse cultures and values have visited this city. I love these stories and histories of Nagasaki. Nagasaki is often associated with the sad history of the atomic bomb, which is, of course, an important part of this city's history, but Nagasaki has much more than that. In 2025, it's the 3rd year as a private tour guide. I speak English and German a little. My hobbies are knitting, handicrafts of earrings and keychains, writing & reading novels in Japanese, and searching for good cafes. Next year, I'm about starting to garden for vegetables and harbs. The main place of a tour is Nagasaki city, including the war hisotory spots. I'd like to guide you to the cities of Sasebo, Saikai, and Unzen, too, if you hope. But I don't have a driving lisence, so transport while your tour is necessary. I'm good at a family tour for your young kids, too. I like kids, so I'd like to suggest some ideas for their playing in the Nagasaki prefecture.

I'm a christian (protestant), and that brought me to live here, the island with the history of Japanese hidden christians. I could guide other than Goto, but in that case I would have to ask guests to cover my transportations fee(as you may not know, from/to Goto islands-Nagasaki city, it takes 1-3 hours by ferry or airplane.) The local history in Nagasaki about the damage by the atomic bomb
On 1945 August 9th, the city was damaged by the atomic bomb. In this tour, not only the atomic bomb museum & the Peace Park, some local places are available to vist. However, the Shiroyama elementary school museum is closed after the peace ceremony on August 9th, 2025, because of Seismic reinforcement work for a few years. So until the day August 6th, this school museum is included in this tour. (August 7th to 9th are not on sale because I'm an attendee of the peace ambassador for the ceremony.)

“Dutch and Chinese history of Nagasaki”
Armando showde is around in the historica quarter close to the port. His local knowledge not only gave us an idea of the history but also the many funny details made it entertaining, which made it very easy to spend four hours in this small area.

“Nagasaki tour”
We had a great time with Sho. He was so knowledgeable and so fun to be with. He took us all around Nagasaki by taxi cab. Exactly the way we wanted to go because it was fast. Every time it was time to get a cab he had two taxis that showed up just right on time. He was a great leader. He took us to a wonderful restaurant. Possibly the best of the trip. I highly recommend Sho. So easy to get along with and so overwhelmingly sensitive to where we were. I highly recommend Sho to give you a tour of Nagasaki. He is absolutely nothing but fun and made our day incredibly special.
