Hello :) I am Macco, a licensed tour guide.
Would you like to enjoy nice Japanese food...? Here I am!
I love eating and traveling, so I call myself "EATraveler".
I'd like you to experience "tasty (oishi)" Japan, so my tour will be full of nice food :)
I was born and grew up in Osaka, and now I live in Tokyo (near Ikebukuro).
Usually I work as an editor & writer.
My recent works are mainly books about food and drinks, such as dried food, cocktails and bars, Japanese sake, coffee, cheese, tea, as well as agriculture and food issues. I also write articles for some guidebooks of Tokyo.
Based on those background, I'd like to show you some interesting places in Tokyo and enjoy EATraveling together :)

“Great restaurant fun with Macco”
I chose Macco because of her (and my) enthusiasm for food, but here English is excellent and her conversation very insightful, so it was an interesting evening of learning about sake and Tokyo and the owner of the restaurant we went to. Highly recommended!

Golden Gai Tour and Japanese Dinner

“Friendly and highly qualified ”
I had macco company with me on the night of my first visit to Tokyo. She was friendly, and worked hard on finding an unique wagyu beef restaurant for me. She helped me to navigate Ginza, the tour was great. Her English is great, having great passion about food, during the food tour we had great conversations. I highly recommend her.
