This half-day tour with Ritsuko was exactly what we needed at the beginning of our trip! She met us at our hotel and started with an incredibly useful Tokyo Station orientation, showing us how to navigate the station and prepare for our upcoming Shinkansen journey. That alone saved us so much confusion later! From there, she brought the history and traditions of Meiji Shrine to life before taking us into the colour and energy of Harajuku. We finished with a fun conveyor-belt sushi lunch that everyone loved. Practical, fascinating and beautifully paced, this tour gave us both a memorable morning and the confidence to explore Tokyo. From the moment we first met at your hotel, I also felt that we connected naturally. We discovered that we had similar tastes, including some of the same favorite movies, and I also really enjoyed learning about Bermuda from you. Looking back, I think splitting the tours into morning and evening was definitely the right decision, especially in the summer heat. We also had that sudden rain, and since it was your first full day after such a long journey, I’m sorry that by the end of the day it became a little too much for Arleen. Even so, I’m truly happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with me and that what we did together helped you feel more confident during the rest of your stay in Japan.
