Hi, I'm Ritsuko, a national licensed tour guide. I was born and raised in Tokyo.
As Tokyo is a city of many faces, I hope you will discover your hidden gems during the tour.
I love to wander around the shops and places downtown and one of my hobbies is to find daily-use products made in Japan. So I can select unique souvenirs for you within your budget!
I am football-mad and have been to every FIFA World Cup except one tournament since 1998.
I also love to go island hopping in Asia. That's why I have been to over 30 countries.
Wherever I went, people were so kind to me. So, it's my turn.
I will do my best to make your tour a memorable one!
Hope to hear from you soon.
I am available 7 days a week, but if you prefer popular tourist destinations, please select weekdays. Additionally, my tours have a minimum duration of 5 hours.
All tours can be customized for you. Send me a message with your requests!

“Incredible Mother & Daughter Tokyo Tour ”
We spent our first day in Tokyo with Ritsuko and had an incredible day. I highly recommend doing this for anyone a bit anxious about navigating the trains etc. Ritsuko’s communication prior to the tour was excellent and she asked lots of questions about our interests to plan the perfect day! From helping us get our Welcome Suica cards to visiting Meiji Shrine & designing T-Shirts at Uniqlo, then wandering Harijuku and a delicious sushi lunch. Ritsuko’s knowledge, patience and careful planning made the day so enjoyable. I highly recommend Ritsuko!

Hi Meredith and Queenie, Thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m delighted you and Queenie enjoyed your first day in Tokyo — from creating custom T-shirts and trying conveyor belt sushi to tasting that colorful cotton candy in Harajuku! Also, don’t forget to write down your wish and keep the omamori (amulet) from Meiji Shrine with you, either in your bag or in your room. I also had a wonderful time exploring the city with you two. It was such a pleasure to share those fun experiences and help you feel more at ease navigating Tokyo. I hope your journey through Japan continues to be filled with great discoveries, delicious food, and unforgettable memories. Wishing you both a fantastic adventure ahead! All the best

“A one-day tour covering major spots in Tokyo for your first visit - 02.04.2025”
We had the pleasure of spending a day with Ritsuko during our visit to Tokyo in April 2025. Ritsuko's expertise and warm personality made our visit to Tokyo special. Our tour began with a prompt meeting at our hotel. Ritsuko greeted us with a friendly smile and a wealth of knowledge about Tokyo. Our first stop was the historic Sensoji Temple, where Ritsuko guided us through the vibrant Nakamise-dori, filled with charming shops. Her insights into the temple's history and cultural significance were fascinating. Next, we visited the Imperial Palace and its serene East Gardens. Ritsuko's detailed explanations about the former Edo Castle site and the beautiful gardens added depth to our visit. We then enjoyed a delicious lunch at a Halal restaurant, thoughtfully chosen by Ritsuko to accommodate our dietary preferences. In the afternoon, we explored the tranquil Meiji Shrine, where Ritsuko's knowledge of Shinto traditions and the shrine's history enriched our experience. The serene forest surrounding the shrine was a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Our tour continued to the lively Harajuku district, where Ritsuko introduced us to the trendy Takeshita Street, a haven for unique and cute items. Her recommendations for shops and snacks were spot-on. The highlight of our day was the iconic Shibuya Crossing. Ritsuko's enthusiasm and tips for navigating the bustling intersection made it an exciting experience. Without Ritsuko's support, we would not have been able to visit all these sites in a single day. She expertly navigated the complex subway network and multiple exits, ensuring we stayed on track and maximized our time. Ritsuko's extensive knowledge of Tokyo and its attractions was invaluable, making our tour both informative and enjoyable. Ritsuko's professionalism, knowledge, and friendly demeanor made our day in Tokyo unforgettable. We highly recommend her as a guide for anyone visiting Tokyo. Thank you, Ritsuko, for an amazing experience!

Hi Slim, Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Although the weather was colder than expected, I’m glad it gradually improved, and we could enjoy the cherry blossoms. I'm also happy to hear that you liked the halal lunch. Most of all, I appreciated your curiosity and engagement with Japanese culture—it was a real pleasure guiding you. You've returned home with wonderful memories of your time in Japan. Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your journey. Wishing you all the best, and I hope our paths cross again someday!
