Hi, I'm Ritsuko, a national licensed tour guide. I was born and raised in Tokyo.
As Tokyo is a city of many faces, I hope you will discover your hidden gems during the tour.
I love to wander around the shops and places downtown and one of my hobbies is to find daily-use products made in Japan. So I can select unique souvenirs for you within your budget!
I am football-mad and have been to every FIFA World Cup except one tournament since 1998.
I also love to go island hopping in Asia. That's why I have been to over 30 countries.
Wherever I went, people were so kind to me. So, it's my turn.

“The Perfect Introduction to Japan”
We had the absolute pleasure of spending time in Tokyo with Ritsuko during our first trip to Japan, and she made our experience so wonderful. From the moment we met her, she was warm and kind. We were visiting in February while our son is studying abroad in Kyoto, and wanted to see both Tokyo and Kyoto for the first time. Ritsuko helped us make the most of our time in Tokyo. We easily logged more than 15,000 steps a day walking, navigating trains, and exploring neighborhoods we never would have found on our own. She took us to Senso-ji, Meiji Shrine, Tokyo Tower, and even arranged a sumo lunch experience that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a fun and unexpected surprise. Ritsuko was not only incredibly knowledgeable and organized, but also simply lovely to be with. She balanced history, culture, and logistics seamlessly, all while keeping the days relaxed and enjoyable.

I was so impressed by your energy—even though it was your first full day in Japan, you walked so much with me to introduce you around Tokyo. Regarding the Sumo lunch, while I often send my guests to such spots, it is quite rare for me to sit down and watch the show together. I am truly grateful for your generosity in inviting me to join you. Cheering for Asanohide together is such a fun and special memory for me as well! I imagine your days in Kyoto and Nara must have been wonderful and fulfilling once your son joined you. Please come back to Tokyo again someday in a different season. Mein erstes Mal in Deutschland war 2012, als ich Studentin war, und damals habe ich einen Monat in München einen Deutschkurs gemacht. Da habe ich viel erlebt und erfahrt und war total begeistert für die deutsche Kultur, Sitten, einfach alles, natürlich Leute auch :) Nach dem Studium bin ich nach Deutschland (München und Augsburg) geflogen, um richtig Deutsch zu lernen. In den Schulzeiten habe ich viele Erfahrungen in der Gastronomie gesammelt. In Deutschland habe ich als Kellnerin in einem japanischen Restaurant und Japanischlehrerin gearbeitet. Aktuell bin ich auch private Japanischlehrerin (ich habe auch einen Vertrag mit der amerikanischen Marine) und gelegentlich Reiseführerin. Mein Hobbies sind Reisen, Lesen, Kochen, etwas Süßes backen usw. Ich würde Sie sehr gerne Tokyo bzw Yokohama oder Kamakura und Yokosuka zeigen :)

I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama.
