“Ritsuko, Our Special Guide. ”
On Wednesday 18/6/2025 Ritsuko met us at the reception lounge in the Yokohama Intercontinental Hotel. She was right on time and like all Japanese people we’ve met on our holiday break, her polite manners and friendly attitude made it a pleasure to spend the day with her. Ritsuko was extremely knowledgeable about the locations, shrines, bamboo gardens and Buddhas we visited. She selected a really good restaurant in Kamakura for an authentic Japanese lunch. Ritsuko has a very distinctive laugh, it made us feel that she was enjoying our company every bit as much as we were enjoying hers. We would highly recommend contacting Ritsuko to act as a tour guide if you’re visiting Yokohama. Sandra & Jack Glen Scotland.

“First time visit to Japan tour with Ritsuko”
We had a great tour with Ritsuko (Ueno Park, Harajuku, Shibuya Crossing, Meiji Shrine). She really knows her way around the city! Ritsuko picked a fun sushi restaurant for lunch, the kids liked it so much that we went back two more times during our trip! She was patient with us on an especially hot day, and was kind enough to help me out post-tour, on how to navigate the train(s) to Puroland :) Thank you Ritsuko, for everything!

Hi Rebecca, Thank you so much for your wonderful review It makes me smile to hear that you went back to the sushi restaurant and enjoyed even more salmon! I'm also delighted to know that you and Sofia made it to Puroland. From the decorations at the station to the rides and character greetings, I’m sure it was a magical experience. I imagine your kids also found lots of cool items while shopping in Harajuku. As you said, it was unusually summer heat during your stay, so I truly appreciate how much walking you did on your very first day in Japan. I hope you’ll come back to Tokyo in a different season and discover even more of what the city has to offer. Wishing you and your family all the best!
