Hi, I'm Ritsuko, a national licensed tour guide. I was born and raised in Tokyo.
As Tokyo is a city of many faces, I hope you will discover your hidden gems during the tour.
I love to wander around the shops and places downtown and one of my hobbies is to find daily-use products made in Japan. So I can select unique souvenirs for you within your budget!
I am football-mad and have been to every FIFA World Cup except one tournament since 1998.
I also love to go island hopping in Asia. That's why I have been to over 30 countries.
Wherever I went, people were so kind to me. So, it's my turn.
I will do my best to make your tour a memorable one!
Hope to hear from you soon.

“Tokyo in a day”
Ritsuko was a fabulous guide for our tour of Tokyo, she was very informative and spoke excellent English. We saw as much as we could in a day, lots of walking and guiding us through the daunting metro/underground systems to some fantastic sights. Would highly recommend using Ritsuko for your visit to an amazing city. Thank you Ritsuko. Ha'way the lads!

Hi Stephen, "Ha’way the lads!" reminded me of Newcastle, and it brought a big smile to my face. I also loved hearing about the Isle of Man and the wonderful saying that “Whichever way thrown always stand.” That was such a memorable and heartwarming message to take away from our day together. Thank you as well for the beautiful photos you sent. Since you are such food lovers, I hope you will enjoy many delicious dishes on the upcoming cruise. I truly enjoyed guiding you in Tokyo and hope our paths will cross again one day!

“Like Exploring Tokyo with a Friend”
We spent two wonderful days in Tokyo with Ritsuko and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. She was warm, organised, and made navigating the city effortless. Her knowledge of history and culture brought every place to life, and she tailored the tour perfectly to our interests. We saw both famous highlights and hidden gems we would never have found alone. By the end, it felt like we were exploring with a friend. Highly recommended!

Hi Derek & Tracey, thank you so much for your lovely review. I’m writing this with a cup of Earl Grey tea and milk, remembering all the wonderful moments we shared. It felt like exploring Tokyo with a friend; that’s exactly what I hope for every time I guide someone. Hearing that from you means a lot to me. I hope that on your upcoming cruise, you will continue to discover many more faces of Japan and create even more wonderful memories. All the best!

“Awesome tour to Kamakura ”
We had a great time with Ritsuko. We took multiple trains, subway, bus to get to our final destination. Would have taken me 2 days on my own to get to Kamakura:) We got LOT of info about the differences between shrine vs temple. Excellent cadence, she was very patient with us on a super hot day. Great recommendations for food / lunch. Huge sport fan, we enjoyed Ritsuko’s company immensely. Great day, and hope I also made a good friend.

Hi Timea, Thank you for your wonderful review. It was my pleasure guiding you in Kamakura. At the same time, I regret that on such an unexpected hot day I had you walk so much, and that we could not make it to the final temple. I am also sorry I could not accept your request for another tour day. I hope that next time you will come back not for business but for a holiday, and in a different season, so that we can explore more together. Wishing you all the best remaining of your stay in Tokyo.
