Hi, I'm Ritsuko, a national licensed tour guide. I was born and raised in Tokyo.
As Tokyo is a city of many faces, I hope you will discover your hidden gems during the tour.
I love to wander around the shops and places downtown and one of my hobbies is to find daily-use products made in Japan. So I can select unique souvenirs for you within your budget!
I am football-mad and have been to every FIFA World Cup except one tournament since 1998.
I also love to go island hopping in Asia. That's why I have been to over 30 countries.
Wherever I went, people were so kind to me. So, it's my turn.
I will do my best to make your tour a memorable one!
Hope to hear from you soon.

“Excellent tour with a fabulous guide”
So Ritsuko has been really an excellent guide: she took us around the main spots of Tokyo, but half of the itinerary was done to include specific places we had asked for, combining the must see places with our personal interests. Worth it, surely I would recommend Ritsuko.

Hi Valentina, thank you so much for choosing me as your guide for the final part of your journey in Japan. Guiding you from the unique perspective of architecture was a wonderful experience for me as well. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Tokyo, and wish you a safe journey back to Milan!

“Tour Tokyo with a true local! ”
Our family of four booked Ritsuko for a full day customized tour in Tokyo. A benefit of having a guide that is born and raised in Tokyo (which is not as common as you think!) is seeing Ritsuko flawlessly navigating the destinations we visited. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and time with Ritsuko and us parents learned a lot about Meiji Jingu Shrine and Shinto while the two teenagers enjoyed the shops at Harajuku. Having already been to Tokyo a few years ago, Ritsuko suggested we try Okonomiyaki which we haven't had before and she graciously cooked it for us since we had no clue what to do. She was clearly a pro at it and it was delicious! This is something we would not have done if we were left on our own. Having already been to Akihabara on our previous trip, we opted to check out Nakano Broadway which if you are into anime and vintage toys, this is your spot. Wish we had more time to have booked another tour with Ritsuko!

Hi Alison, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It truly means a lot to me. It was certainly too hot for okonomiyaki, but I’m so glad you enjoyed the new experience. I was also happy to take you to lesser-known spots like Nakano — it’s always special for me to share more of my own local side of Tokyo. I thought of your family the other day when I saw Arsenal start the season with two wins and Saka scoring! Meanwhile, my Newcastle is already struggling, haha. I hope you’ll come back again in a different season. It was such a pleasure guiding you, and I’d love to welcome you back in the future. Until then, all the best!

Hi Tamar, thank you so much for coming all the way from Yokohama to Shibuya. I’m especially delighted to show Preston both the traditional and modern sides of Tokyo. I hope you two discover even more of Japan’s beauty and charm during your cruise. All the best!
