“Enjoyable and informative tour of Asakusa”

We had a very enjoyable, interesting and informative tour of Asakusa during a 12 hour layover during our flights from London to Australia. Ritsuko shared her knowledge of the temples and shrines we visited. She took us to some interesting shopping streets and took me to a vintage kimono and yukata and helped me to buy a beautiful vintage shibori indigo yukata which I would never have found without her help. She was able to organize tickets for a Sumida river cruise which we wouldn’t have been able to do on our own. At the end of the cruise she took us to the beautiful Hama-rikyu gardens and then walked with us to Hamamatsucho Station so we could catch the monorail back to the airport. We highly recommend Ritsuko ad an informative, flexible snd accomodating guide.

“3 days in Tokyo ”

Ritsuko showed us around her amazing city for 3 days. Not only is she highly knowledgeable about every aspect of her home city and country, she is also very keen to share her knowledge in a very enthusiastic manner. We covered a lot of ground and learnt a lot about this amazing country. Thank you for your company and enthusiastic explanations to all of our questions Ritsuko. We would highly recommend her services should you be planning a visit to Tokyo.

“Hokusai Museum, Senso-Ji Temple, Shinto Shrine in Ueno Park”

Ritsuko was a wonderful guide for our first day in Tokyo. She introduced us to the subway system and led us all over town, providing useful information and stories about each of the sites we visited. My favorite site was the Hokusai Museum which had not been part of her plan but she happily accommodated us. She then steered us to a restaurant near the museum for a great lunch.

Hi Dan, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I was glad that all four of you enjoyed the Hokusai Museum, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special exhibition, so the timing worked out well. As it was your first day in Tokyo, we didn’t have enough time to make it to western Tokyo to visit the bicycle shop Patti had hoped to see, but I hope you had a chance to go there later.
