Hi, I'm Ritsuko, a national licensed tour guide. I was born and raised in Tokyo.
As Tokyo is a city of many faces, I hope you will discover your hidden gems during the tour.
I love to wander around the shops and places downtown and one of my hobbies is to find daily-use products made in Japan. So I can select unique souvenirs for you within your budget!
I am football-mad and have been to every FIFA World Cup except one tournament since 1998.
I also love to go island hopping in Asia. That's why I have been to over 30 countries.
Wherever I went, people were so kind to me. So, it's my turn.
I will do my best to make your tour a memorable one!
Hope to hear from you soon.

“Ritsuko will make you fall in love with Tokyo ”
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Ritsuko for our first day in Tokyo. As first-time visitors to Japan, including three teenagers, everything was new, exciting—and at times, overwhelming. Ritsuko made all the difference. She was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive, helping us navigate everything from train stations to Harajuku and Shibuya Crossing, all with a big smile. We’re so grateful for her help in making our first day in Tokyo not only smooth, but truly special. Highly, highly recommended!

Hi, Mara! Thank you so much for your kind review. I’m delighted to hear that you all enjoyed the tour, especially in the vibrant shopping areas of western Tokyo. Thanks to your open-mindedness and willingness to try the Tokyo subway system, I could share not only the sights but also a glimpse of our daily life, which means a lot to me as someone born and raised here. I hope the rest of your stay is filled with delicious food, great finds, and unforgettable photos. Wishing you and your wonderful family many more exciting adventures in Japan!

Hi Lynn and Mike, Thank you so much for your kind review! Despite the heavier rain than expected, I’m delighted you enjoyed the tour from the National Museum to the Godzilla Head. There are still many more places I’d love to show you, so please come back someday. All the best!

“Highly recommend ”
Ritsuko was an excellent guide. As an elderly couple but well traveled we enjoyed the less crowded locations which gave insight into the culture of Japan. She stayed with us for navigating the airport and even helped others on the way.

Because of that, I was able to share some of my favorite spots in Tokyo. It was MY pleasure guiding you. Wishing you both continued good health and happy travels!
