Even the real James Bond ( yes, it was a real James Bond) lived here and worked here.

This palace was built in the baroque style, it's one of the most important palaces in Europe. Commissioned by King D. João V to fulfil a vote of succession, it spreads along 38.000m, comprising 1.200 rooms, 4.700 doors and windows and 156 stairs and boasts six historic organs in the Basilica, an 18th-century library with around 38.000 volumes and a Hospital.

“I had magnificent moments.”

Being with Marisa on the beautiful streets that went up, then down, and were full of history, is truly a blessing. The entire history of this wonderful city was unfolded to me through warm and lively words, as I walked alongside this soul who seemed to live through HISTORY. “Great History”

This tour was absolutely wonderful. Marisa was an excellent guide. She had so much information that it almost to hard to process!
