About Tour Guide Jacinto V.

I am a México City local who is in love with it. I love my whole country but I love my city more.

I have studied International Relations and Mexican gastronomy and it's history. I work as a tourist guide and in films as a chaperone; in there my job is to receive and take care of foreign producers and actors. Among the task, I take them to eat, party and find stuff that doesn't exist ( yes that happens).

As there are different requirements for this jobs I get to know the different parts of the culture, the exclusive, fancy, curious, popular, untidy; the whole ideosincrasy.

I am a serious foodie, also enthusiast about, coffee, beer, wine, mezcal and pulque (prehispanic drink).

I like to collect hidden jewels from my city and I also like to cook but preferably with the proper calm and telling the story and culture around the food. In order to have some balance I am sportively very active, I practice football soccer and rugby, also willing to go outdoors anytime.

When I was about to enter to study I wanted to do something good for my country; this jobs are a great way to do it, I am proud to show my culture.

I also like the fact that I get to learn from visitors, their way of seeing the world.

It is very rewarding when visitors leave happy.

A MUST small restaurant-hopping experience!

This really was one of the most enjoyable food walking tour experience that my husband and I have ever experienced. We got to try so many different things that we otherwise would've never gotten to try if we were to explore ourselves. Jacinto's love for food and his city is apparent from the start, and we got to enjoy a little piece of the city's food scene through a local's eyes. The itinerary was flexible depending on our interests, the pace calm. We loved everything about this tour and we would not hesitate to have Jacinto show us around again when we go back with family and friends.

Jacinto is a gem!

From the moment he picked us up at the airport, until he dropped is off in SMDA, 4 days later, our time with Jacinto was flawless. His love of his country, and his city CDMX was apparent. He knows his history, gave a great tour of Teotihuacan with interesting craft and food stops along the way. He also organized a wonderful guide for the Museum of Anthropology. He is easy to talk to and a foodie. He multi lingual and funny. Our time with Jacinto was a joy. I would highly recommend him.

Thanks! It was a real pleasure, great company!

Small restaurant tour was truly a pleasure

It was truly a pleasure walking the Condesa and Roma Norte neighborhoods with Jacinto and being introduced to so wonderful local eating establishments. These places are gems that my family and I would not been able to discover on our own. Jacinto's knowledge of traditional Mexican cuisine and culture is extensive, and we thoroughly enjoyed his stories. He was also kind to meet us at our hotel and help us with rudimentary things like buying a transit card for the metro system.

Mexico

My name is Miroslava. I'm a native of Xochimilco and a proud winner of the most meaningful beauty contest in CDMX 'La flor más bella del ejido' 2006. Because of this, I became a cultural ambassador and guardian of my culture and community. I learned embroidery from my grandma when I was 12 years old, and later on, I continued learning from handcrafter friends from different communities around Mexico. I've been teaching and holding workshops on embroidery since 2010. In 2012, I launched a brand/workshop called "TRAMA", which now, after 13 years of experience and building a community of handcrafters, offers not only artisanal products and workshops but also unique experiences to visit and live Xochimilco's culture and nature.

I am very interested in working with companies from other countries like yourselves and to show people the interesting places we have like colonial cities, archeological sites and contemporary cities, all together in only one city. Mexico

I am a young historian who has been working as a tour guide for 4 years. During this time I have met people from all over the world, which has taught me a lot about interacting with all kinds of people as well as showing my city in an authentic and interesting way. I like to take people to places that show another side of Mexico City, a closer perspective of how its inhabitants live day to day. I also enjoy taking photographs on my tours.

Born and raised in the vibrant heart of Mexico City, I've always been captivated by the ancient wonders and rich cultural tapestry that our country has to offer. My journey led me to study archaeology and become a certified tourist guide, driven by a passion for uncovering the hidden stories of pre-Colonial art and worldviews. In 2018, I proudly earned my Master's Degree in Mesoamerican Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). It was during this time that my love and passion for Mexico and its ancient cultures inspired me to create unforgettable archaeological and adventure tours in the Riviera Maya and Mexico City. My mission is clear - I aim to ignite interest and awareness about Mexico's rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage. That's why, with a commitment to preserving our heritage, my friends and I started our own project. In our project, we're on a mission to share the magic of Mexico with travelers who crave more than just a typical tourist experience. Our tours, led by passionate experts, promise to immerse you in the captivating history, art, and natural beauty of Mexico.
