Naoki’s food tour of his favourite spots in Osaka was a wonderful way to spend an evening. His English is excellent and he speaks like a proper British bloke. He was able to give us history of the area as well and introduce us to all sorts of common foods in Osaka. Like having dinner with a friend .. over and over again! Highly recommend!
Dear Megan, Thank you so much for your kind review! I am really happy to hear that you all enjoyed the evening food tour in Osaka. Spending time with you and your family made me feel warm and felt like we had known each other for a long time! Thank you for telling me a lot of interesting stories about your city and business. Please enjoy the rest of your trip. Best Regards Naoki
We had a great day in Osaka on a full day tour with Naoki. He was a great communicator and was completely flexible in working with us. Naoki was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. We felt like we were being show around by our local friend. Highly recommend and we will definitely book again on our next trip.
Dear Heidi, Thank you so much indeed for your kind review! I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour. You were so friendly that I really enjoyed taking you all around in Osaka. Thank you for telling me many things about your city and treating me with lunch as well. I really hope that you will enjoy the rest of your stay here and keep making good memories. Arigato Gozaimashita Best Regards Naoki
Naoki met us at the Shin-Osaka station since we were coming from Kyoto and only there for the day. We were nearing the end of our 10 day vacation and were looking forward to a tour geared more toward food. Our three adult children were with us and one is planning on attending culinary school. He was so excited for this tour and Naoki planned a great day. We started at Kuramon Seafood Market. Naoki was very patient while we sampled Kobe beef and Waygu beef, sea urchin, roasted chestnuts, the best sweet potato chips, Nara strawberries and more. From there we moved on to Dontonbori street and sampled more food and just enjoyed looking at all the building signs and displays. Also saw Hozenji-Temple. For lunch, Naoki took us somewhere to get bento boxes for lunch along with a sample pack of Osaka craft beer (the beer was a last minute request that Naoki was able to accommodate). We had a good laugh over the grapes we innocently purchased that probably cost about a dollar per great. They were delicious though! Took our bento boxes and other goodies to Osaka Castle to have a picnic right outside of the beautiful Osaka Castle! After lunch we visited the castle and Osaka Temmangu Shrine. Lastly, we strolled through a local shopping arcade where we stopped and had another tasting and drink. Thank you Naoki for creating a great day for our family! By the way, Naoki speaks very good English and is a great conversationalist. I highly recommend Naoki!
Dear Peg, Thank you so much for spending your precious family time with me!! I hope that you all enjoyed the trip and got back home safe and sound. I really really enjoyed visiting all the places in Osaka and trying local food together including the shocking grapes! I was also very happy and felt warm to see you and your family enjoying the good times. You kindly told me many things about Culture, Food, , Economy, etc.. in your country which was very interesting to know and much appreciated. Thank you so much again for giving me such a great experience. I am looking forward to seeing you all again sometime in future. Best Regards Naoki
Naoki San guided us on a 1 day tour of Kyoto. He is a very patient and accommodating person who tailored our day based on our preferences and desired pace. Our kids (10 & 8) said that of all things we did in Kyoto, meeting Naoki San was their best experience! In addition to showing us various tourist attraction, he also explained various Japanese traditions and history and even made reservations for us try Japanese food in a busy restaurant. I’ll wholeheartedly recommend Naoki San to fellow travelers.
Dear Kush san, Thank you so much for spending your precious time with me in Kyoto! I am so glad that your children enjoyed the tour too and I hope that they will remember the good experience and come back to Japan someday! Thank you so much again for your kind comments Kush san and I am looking forward to seeing you all again!! Best Regards Naoki
