“Perfect day with the family - fantastic! ”

For us the best way to experience Tokyo with family We booked Shusaku-san as our private guide in Tokyo, and he turned our trip into the highlight of our whole journey. Our 12-year-old son is completely obsessed with Pokémon and arcades, and Shusaku didn't just tolerate it, he embraced it like a true fellow trainer. He took us to the best spots for Pokémon fans and arcades, and our son was beaming all day. At the same time, he showed us the cultural side of Tokyo and took us shopping, so we parents got exactly what we were hoping for too. Everyone left happy (and with slightly heavier bags ;-) What really sets Shusaku apart is his warmth and humour. He's open, genuine and easy to talk to, casual and relaxed, yet always responsible and attentive, especially with our son. By the end of day one it felt like exploring the city with a friend rather than a hired guide. He was incredibly flexible, happily adjusting the plan to our mood and energy, and he was reachable whenever we needed him, which gave us real peace of mind in such a huge city. If you're visiting Tokyo, especially with kids, I can't recommend Shusaku highly enough. Thank you, Shusaku-san, for making our trip so special. We hope to see you again!

“Best of the best!!!! ”

I have been around the world and usually enjoy having a local Guide when it comes to traveling as a foreigner. Shusaku is the best guide I have ever had. He is excited to show you his country and customs, while at the same time being very sensitive to providing you with the best experience as a tourist. Extremely accommodating. He is informative, upbeat, and very funny. There is such a good shopping in Tokyo, and he even helped me carry all of the stuff I purchased. I was traveling solo, but next time I bring my family, I will make sure to have him guide us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

“Tsukiji Market with a Comedian!”

Shusaku was an excellent tour guide for Tsukiji Market. He has a very good sense of humour (no doubt because he used to be a comedian). He was really fun to spend the morning with. If you want to have a genuine chat about what it's like living in Tokyo, and the difference between living there and in Osaka, he's a great choice. If you want to ask questions about the food in the market (either for dietary restrictions or out of curiosity), he's more than willing to chat with the vendors. He made navigating the market very easy, and lots of fun. Plus, we always forget to take photos, but he brought his camera along. He snapped some of our favourite photos from the trip.
