About Tour Guide Shusaku M.
My name is Shusaku. I was born and raised in Osaka, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the beautiful landscapes and rich culture of the region.
During my travels to 10 different countries, I came to realize the importance of listening to the locals to truly understand the culture and charm of a place. This experience taught me that local knowledge and experiences are invaluable in building a deeper understanding and connection while traveling.
In my tours, I make it a point to not only showcase the popular tourist destinations but also to share insights into the everyday lives of locals and the culture of the region. By incorporating stories and knowledge from locals, I aim to provide a more enriching travel experience.
My mission in life is to foster a deeper understanding of the world through travel and to build connections with people from different backgrounds. I look forward to creating unforgettable memories and sharing new discoveries with all of you!

“Evening Tour to Kabuki-Cho and Golden Gai ”
Our trip to Tokyo was greatly improved by the two tours we took with Shu. He is knowledgeable, personable, and entertaining. He took us to hidden gems that we would have completely missed had we been on our own. Shu took some amazing photos along the way and sent them to us- memories we will treasure! He showed us the Asakusa and Akihabara areas on our first day, then took us through Omoide Yokocho, Kabukicho, and Golden Gai for an unforgettable evening. We learned so much and had a blast with him. We highly recommend his tours and will definitely use him again when we return to Japan!

“Really fun evening discovering hidden gems”
Shusaku was excellent! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. It was great to visit local places we never would have found as first-time tourists who don’t speak the language. Shu also took lovely pictures of during the tour and shared them immediately after. All-in-all everything was great!

Japanese Gardens and Tokyo Life: Bunkyo City Customized Tour
Bunkyo City is in the heart of central Tokyo, just north of Chiyoda City where the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station are. The city is Tokyo’s typical residential and academic area where I was born, grew up, and live now. We'll move around the city with a Bunkyo City Community Bus, B-guru ( “beagle”, the mascot character of the bus), and visit Edo-Tokyo Japanese gardens and other calm and pleasant sites. You'll also catch a glimpse of Tokyo citizens’ life during the tour.

Excursion off the Beaten Track in the Suburbs of Tokyo
We will explore the western suburbs of Tokyo in this tour. If you are looking for something different from the crowded tourist attractions in the central part of Tokyo, you will enjoy exploring the western suburbs of Tokyo. I recommend this tour not to first timers but to repeaters who have been to famous places in Tokyo. You will discover traditional spots in the beautiful environment of the suburbs. Weather permitting, lunch in a local restaurant can be replaced by a picnic lunch in a park.
