Guys, if you’re about to dive into the vibrant city of Tokyo there is no better way to do it than with Shu!! “ The Best Decision We Made for Our First Day in Japan”
My husband and I booked a personalised half-day tour with Shusaku M for our first day in Japan, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our trip. From the moment we met him, Shusaku M was friendly, warm, approachable and incredibly knowledgeable. He spoke excellent English, answered every question we had with patience, and created a relaxed environment where we felt comfortable asking absolutely anything. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Rather than taking us to tourist traps, Shusaku M listened to what we wanted and introduced us to the local side of Tokyo. He gave us a wonderful introduction to the Nakano area, showed us some fantastic little places to eat, and helped us gain confidence using the train system, particularly the JR lines. He also helped us set up our Suica cards and provided great recommendations for places to visit during the rest of our stay. Most importantly, he gave us the confidence to navigate Tokyo on our own. The very next day, we were able to use the train system independently with minimal stress and successfully make our way back to our hotel! We genuinely feel lucky to have found such a kind, personable and professional guide for our first day in Japan.
