About Tour Guide Shusaku M.
My name is Shusaku. I was born and raised in Osaka, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the beautiful landscapes and rich culture of the region.
During my travels to 10 different countries, I came to realize the importance of listening to the locals to truly understand the culture and charm of a place. This experience taught me that local knowledge and experiences are invaluable in building a deeper understanding and connection while traveling.
In my tours, I make it a point to not only showcase the popular tourist destinations but also to share insights into the everyday lives of locals and the culture of the region. By incorporating stories and knowledge from locals, I aim to provide a more enriching travel experience.
My mission in life is to foster a deeper understanding of the world through travel and to build connections with people from different backgrounds. I look forward to creating unforgettable memories and sharing new discoveries with all of you!

“tokyo marathon!!”
we requested a custom guide experience with shu for the tokyo marathon. i was racing and my husband was spectating. we asked shu if he could navigate around the city with my husband during the race and they ended up seeing me on the course FIVE times (which is a lot if you’re a marathon runner trying to see your loved ones on the course). Shu did an amazing job planning the locations they will be at during the race as well as finding me with ease after the race. And of course we celebrated post-race with izakaya and beers! Shu is extremely professional, kind and has a wonderful personality. not only did he make our race day experience seamless, but his local knowledge improved the remainder of our stay. Shu is the best!!

“The Best Guide in Toyko!! ”
We had an amazing time on the Tokyo Highlights tour with Shu. From the moment we met, it felt more like hanging out with a friend than being on a formal tour. Shu is incredibly knowledgeable about Tokyo, its culture, and hidden spots, and he explained everything in a really engaging, easy-to-understand way. The street food was absolutely amazing — some of the best food we had in Tokyo — and Shu knew exactly where to take us. We laughed a lot, learned a ton, and saw parts of the city we never would have found on our own. If you want a fun, authentic Tokyo experience with a guide who genuinely loves what he does, Shu is the one to book. Highly recommended. Bobby

“The Right Tour and Guide for Kabukicho!”
Without this tour, we wouldn't have been able to get into some of the beautiful spots that only locals would know about. Shu is the right man for the job! Highly professional, great personality and smart. He keeps the journey fun with good conversation and is super relatable and down to earth. He also takes awesome pictures which is especially a highlight for my wife. We learned about the history and culture of the area while at the same time enjoying some delicious food and interacting with some of the local Kaishain, who kept pouring our drinks for us hahaha. Hilarious! Highly recommend this tour and we will definitely be back for the same guide again next time we're in town. Thanks Shu!
