“Tsukiji outer market tour review ”
We had a great time exploring and eating our way around the Tsukiji outer market with Shu!! He did a great job bringing us to the best places for sushi, crab and scallops. He also helped us buy souvenirs for our friends and family!! Shu is very knowledgeable and super friendly!! If you are looking to book a tour in Tokyo, I’d highly recommend him!! “Unforgettable day tour of Tokyo with Shusaku”
My wife and I loved our one day guided tour with Shusaku! He was very knowledgable, friendly and attentive to our needs especially learning Tokyo's subway system! He spoke very good English and taught us some new Japanese words. Shusaku also brought his camera equipment and took some great pictures for us and sent us those after the tour! As a former comedian he had a great sense of humor. One memorable highlight was our first stop near our hotel in Ginza was Tsukiji market, wow what a sensory overload in a good way a must go for foodies. Takeshita street in Shibuya was also memorable. He shared some key insights of Japanese culture and language that was very helpful. Shusaku went out of his way to accommodate us during our tour. The unbeaten tracks of Sumida and Koto Wards (5 hour excursion)
Sumida and Koto area was part of the eastern peripheral of old Edo with many second houses of feudal lords which typically had splendid Japanese gardens. Visit and stroll two gardens that have been retained to this day. Also included are visits to a memorial park related to the Kanto Earthquake of 1923, a historic Buddhist temple related to Sumo and the Fukagawa Edo Museum.
