Fukuoka Tour Guide - Kazue I.

Japan

Hi! I am Kazue. I am from Fukuoka and live in the central city. I spent almost 20 years traveling around the world as a cabin attendant. Meeting different people, different cultures and eating local food were best things in my career. This experience definitely widened my perspective and will help me in some way when I work as a guide. Since I spent half my life outside of Japan, I noticed our culture and traditions are very unique and became more interested in historical sites in Japan. For my personal life, I am a mom of twins. It is still a hard work but I am enjoying a lot with them. We take them around Kyushu whenever possible for their fun and experience. We all love traveling after all. I am looking forward to showing you around our hometown soon!

I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese. I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan. More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide. I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year. I guided 1,420 people with 17 groups totaly in 2017and 1,600 people in 1018. Through long work for travel business, I was assigned to excursions of all over Japan, such as Sapporo, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa and others, which gave me intimate knowledge about most places in the country. In addition, I am adept in business fields and knowledgeable about historical sites, traditional culture and modern subcultures in Japan. My wife is a disabled person with an intractable disease who needs 24-hour nursing care. Our daughter takes care of my wife while I am guiding. Even if my schedule is free, I may not be able to take the tour on days when my daughter cannot cooperate. Please ask me first. If it is possible.

Thank you for taking the time to read my greeting! My name is Katsuhisa, but please feel free to call me Katsu. :) My philosophy is rooted in my catchphrase: "Quick and flexible hospitality." Before becoming a guide, I worked as a salesperson, introducing customers to beautiful furniture across various Japanese cities. That experience taught me how to present products and ideas in a way that is both engaging and memorable—a skill I now bring to my role as a guide. However, I am more than just a guide; I am your concierge. Whether it's tailoring an itinerary to your specific interests or preparing seamless experiences with meticulous attention to detail, my goal is to provide you with a journey that exceeds expectations. I am deeply passionate about sharing the unique charm of Nagasaki, Fukuoka, and Japan as a whole, while honoring the culture and places that shaped who I am today. Let me craft an experience that is both enlightening and truly unforgettable. Thank you, and I look forward to welcoming you! :)

Okinawa Main Island Tour Guide - Yukihiro (Hero)行博

Japan

Hello, everyone!! My name is Yukihiro(行博), call me "HERO". I'm eager to introduce this unique country, Japan to foreign guests. I am not a professional interpreter. I have retired from Japan Ground Self-Defense Force(JGSDF=Japanese Army) on March 2018. I have spent most of my career as a Army NCO(Non-commissioned officer) . My job experiences are only in the military, but there are variety of specialties, so I didn't feel boredom. I lived in many places all over Japan, such as Hokkaido 10years, Chiba 15years, Okinawa 8years and more places. I am working for the half of month as a tour-conductor in Okinawa Japan. Rest of month, I live in Nagasaki Prefecture, and work as a Triple Lights interpreter tour guide. I am registered as a Okinawa prefectural interpreter tour guide (English & Chinese), but don't have a whole Japan area certification. So I am brushing my skill up to get it. I speak English, Chinese (simplify & traditional) , no problem to guide you, not like a native though.

Fukuoka Tour Guide - Yoshiharu S.

Japan

Hello, everyone! I am Yoshiharu, a national certified tour guide. Fukuoka is my birthplace, so I have a close attachment to this region. Though you may not be familiar with the name of Fukuoka, I assure you that Fukuoka will provide new discovery and pleasure to your stay in Japan. I have a passion to introduce my country and regions from many points of views. Japan is a country which offers original culture and history. On the other hand, Japan has another attractiveness represented by advanced toilets with many functions, hotels with robot receptionists and so on. The co-existing society with the image of old Japan and the present Japan with high technology definitely make Japan a more attractive place. Not only take you to sightseeing spots and give you some explanations, but also I will help you to learn much more deeply about Japan and Japanese people, their way of thinking and lifestyle. In Addition to the tour guide license, I have received the qualification of international kikisake-shi,.sake sommelier. I will do my best to make your stay in Japan more memorable in a fun way. Let’s go out for new adventures together! (NOTE) I am not a land operator. It means that I don't make reservations for vans, buses, accommodations and other things for you except I think it is indispensable for me. I can give you some advice but, for example, if you want to charter a van for your travel, please contact taxi companies and make a reservation by yourselves. If you have difficulties doing it that way, please contact GoWithGuide or land operators in Japan and your country. Thank you for your understanding.

Yoshiharu was very friendly and professional. He not only put together a great tour, but was helpful in instructing us on the JR rail pass. His knowledge of not only the history , but the making of porcelain was extensive and informative. We really enjoyed the experience and glad that we had him as our guide.

Yuri on Ice tour

Asako-san was the most wonderful tour guide she really took me to all places Yuri on Ice locations based on the anime. Discussed Karastu and Kyushu in general with history and recommendation in other places I was visiting. Very knowledgeable, professional, and great communication leading up to the trip. I could have done the places myself, but with Asako she made it more fun and enjoyable. Booking with triplight was easy and reasonable. Again communication outstanding. Thank you for a very memorable tour.
