Currently, I call Osaka, near Kansai Airport, my home. My journey into cultural exploration began here and has enriched my perspective while deepening my love for Japan. Now, I'm excited to share the wonders of these destinations with you, from the well-known attractions to the hidden gems in Wakayama.
Our journey together will encompass not only the well-trodden paths of Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka but also the serene and spiritual experiences that await in Wakayama and the mystical Koya-mountain. Explore Best View Of Eastern Kyoto Tour
We can go to the Ginkakuji temple by bus and walk along the philosopher's path. Then visit Heian shrine or Nanzenji temple. After that, Gion district to Kiyomizu-temple, we can appreciate different historical sites and shops too. It should be 1.5hs walk. Take a bus or taxi if we get tired or run out of time but it could be easy walk and we gonna have a great time I guess.

“One day Koya trip”
Nobuko (NoNo) was a great one-day tour guide. She met us promptly at the hotel and took us through the itinerary for the day, making sure we were ready for the experience. Once in Koyasan, she took us for a well-paced walk through the cemetery, stopping at multiple shrines, graves and other points of interest, which we would have otherwise missed the significance of. When we reached the most holy place on the tour, where etiquette had to be strictly observed, NoNo explained in a helpful way to make sure we understood the significance of where we were and how to get the most of this unique experience. We toured further temples after lunch, but NoNo made sure our 13 year old son stayed invested and interested in the tour, including when it was time to take an ice cream break ;). Lastly, she made sure we were correctly checked into the Buddhist Monks' monastery for our overnight stay before leaving us. We recommend you book NoNo for your tour!

Nobuko-san is an outstanding and enthusiastic guide. She speaks excellent English and is exceptionally knowledgeable about Japanese culture, people, and foods. She is active and encouraged questions during our customized and preferred physically demanding walks/hikes throughout the day.
