This is a tour to fully enjoy our local area. It's a tour where you can see historical local castle, climb mountains with a view of waterfalls. After that, soak in our proud hot springs, experience traditional kimono, and from exploring historical sites to enjoying traditional activities like wearing kimonos and visiting local hot springs. Offering this diverse range of activities can make for a well-rounded and memorable tour!

“A lively night in Osaka”
We started in Kyoto, where Nobuko (Nono) picked us up and showed us how to take the local subway and JR to Osaka. That alone was useful for the rest of our trip. She's friendly, kind, and very positive. She walked us through Shinsekai, Dotonbori, and the Shinsaibashi shopping arcade, and introduced us to depachika, the department store food halls. Along the way she took us to Osaka's popular food spots. The okonomiyaki we shared was a highlight. Our evening turned out to be unique. It was our first time in Osaka, and it happened to be the night the local baseball team won the game that sent them to the playoffs. Nono had warned us it might be more crowded than usual. Nono gave us some of the team's history: it had been many years since they'd made it this far, and the last time, people jumped into the river in excitement. Huge crowds of locals indeed gathered at the river to celebrate. Even with the crowds and heavy police presence, she was able to confidently pivot and led us safely and comfortably. If you want to try lots of Japanese specialties, Nono is a great resource. Five stars.

We can go to the Ginkakuji temple by bus and walk along the philosopher's path. Then visit Heian shrine or Nanzenji temple. After that, Gion district to Kiyomizu-temple, we can appreciate different historical sites and shops too. It should be 1.5hs walk. Take a bus or taxi if we get tired or run out of time but it could be easy walk and we gonna have a great time I guess.
