We shall look at the major place of coronation, The Westminster Abbey, and the Jewel Tower at the site of the former Westminster Palace. The guests will learn of the rich royal history and the history of the royal coronation from the times of Anglo-Saxon kings and until today.
We shall visit the Royal Buckingham Palace and discover the 19 magnificent State Rooms. We shall also explore the magnificent Coronation display.
From Westminster Abbey we shall walk up the Parliament Street and will visit the Banqueting House, a magnificent survivor of the lost royal Palace of Whitehall, once built by Inigo Jones. Then we shall stop at 10, Downing St, and walk through the Horse Guards Parade to Horse Guards Rd. From there we shall turn to the Mall, and walk towards the Buckingham Palace, passing by the Chapel Royal and St James’s Palace.
Finally, we shall visit the residence of TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children. The palace has been home to members of the royal family for 300 years and was, at some point, especially associated with the Princess Diana. It is a beautiful royal palace with a magnificent collection of art and beautiful State Rooms!
