Barra da Tijuca Point View
Our first stop is the Quebra-Mar, a scenic viewpoint where you’ll get a stunning perspective of one of Rio's most underrated beaches—highly popular among locals but often missed by tourists. This area is more residential than other parts of the city, featuring a beautiful 13-kilometer (about 8 miles) stretch of coastline.
Joá Pointview
Next, we’ll stop to admire Praia do Joá, a hidden beach nestled inside a private residential area, only accessible via a mountain trail. Although we won't hike down due to time constraints, the view from above is truly worth it. Known mostly by locals, this secluded spot is surrounded by lush hills and luxurious cliffside homes—one of the most exclusive and expensive places to live in Rio.
Pedra Bonita
Our next stop is Pedra Bonita, one of Rio’s most iconic postcard views. This majestic mountain, visible from many parts of the city, offers a breathtaking panorama that’s truly unforgettable. We’ll drive up close to the top to take in the view from the same spot where hang gliders and paragliders launch into the sky—an unforgettable experience in one of the city’s most stunning viewpoints.
Tijuca National Park
Next, we’ll enter Tijuca National Park, home to the largest urban reforested jungle in the world. This lush Atlantic Forest reserve is filled with waterfalls, native wildlife, caves, and rich historical landmarks. As we explore, you'll experience the deep natural beauty and ecological importance of this unique rainforest right in the heart of Rio.
Mesa do Imperador PointView
Our next stop is the Emperor’s Table, a large stone picnic table set in the forest, once used by Emperor Dom Pedro II for rest and gatherings during his excursions through the Tijuca Forest. Surrounded by tropical nature, this historic site offers a peaceful atmosphere and a glimpse into Brazil’s imperial past.
Vista Chinesa Pointview
Our next stop is Vista Chinesa, a picturesque viewpoint built in honor of Chinese immigrants who came to Brazil during the Imperial era in an effort to establish tea plantations in Rio. Surrounded by the rainforest, this iconic pagoda offers panoramic views of the city, blending cultural history with natural beauty.

Welcome to Rio de Janeiro! Come fall in love with this marvelous city just like I did since I was a kid!!
My name is Flavio, and I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. I am a Gastronomy Graduate and since 2002, I have worked in restaurants and hotels around the world (USA, France, Spain, Curaçao), always welcoming, serving, and in contact with people from all over the world.
I am passionate about learning and knowing about stories, traditions, cultures, and obviously gastronomy, which makes me want to share everything that is best about our city.
In addition to the usual touristic attractions, we can arrange personalized tours to places not all tourists know or think of going to, breaking taboos and showing various facets of the city.
The tours are done with my own car, safe and comfortable.
Let me surprise you what Rio has to offer you!!

“Great for families with kids!”
We had an amazing experience touring Rio with Flavio! He was fantastic with our kids—patient, fun, and made the entire experience enjoyable for the whole family. His relaxed and personalized approach made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend rather than just a tour guide. Every stop felt meaningful, not rushed, and he shared so many interesting insights along the way. On top of that, Flavio gave us great tips throughout our trip, from restaurant recommendations to local spots we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Highly recommend him for anyone visiting Rio, especially families!

“Great Guide, Great Tour”
I had a great tour with Flavio. He is enthusiastic about his city and his work. He also knows the little practical details that simplify seeing so much in one day. I never felt rushed but we saw so much more than the tour description, despite him having to accommodate me as a senior traveler. If you want a fun, action packed and satisfying day, Flavio is the guide for you.
