Sheung Wan District
Sheung Wan used to be the "old Chinese quarter" in the early colonial period of Hong Kong. Explore this historic part of Hong Kong Island to get to know the history and the important sights:
* Sheung Wan markets- Authentic, traditional market area where you can learn about traditional Chinese culture
* Hollywood Road Park- An oasis in the concrete jungle and where Hong Kong history started
* Man Mo Temple- One of the oldest and most important temples in Hong Kong since early colonial period
Central
With its colonial architecture and skyscrapers at the heart of the city, it's a good area to take a short stop to learn about the colonial history of Hong Kong and how it become a modern financial centre. Important sights here include:
* Colonial architectures in Central
* HSBC Tower
Victoria Peak & Peak Tram
The best place in Hong Kong to see one of the most iconic skylines in the world, here we would take a walk to a secret spot to see the best skyline of Hong Kong.
Dim Sum lunch in Wan Chai
Dim Sum is a very important part of local Hong Kong food culture that visitors must not miss, after visiting the Peak we would return back to the city and visit a restaurant for a dim sum meal.
Star Ferry and Tsim Sha Tsui promenade
After a dim sum meal we would take the Star Ferry across the harbour and start the second part of our tour in Kowloon, we would also take a stop at Tsim Sha Tsui promenade where you can see Hong Kong's iconic skyline.
Kowloon wet market area
Wet markets are one of the most important part of Hong Kong local culture, unfortunately they're slowly disappearing as more neighbourhoods are getting gentrified, luckily we could still find a few good ones in some old neighborhoods of Kowloon, it's the best way to experience real Hong Kong local life.
Kowloon Walled City Park
The park has a very unusual history, it used be a Chinese exclave in the middle of the former British colony where over thirty thousands people live (in the size of a small park!). Nowadays it's a very beautiful tranquil park in the middle of Kowloon, in this last stop of the tour we would explore this park and learn about the city's past before we end the tour.
