“Lack of clarity and poor communication”

This service had both ups and downs during our 5‑day tour through Cairo and Luxor. The Positives: Excellent and clear explanations from our guides, Esraa in Cairo and Hamed in Luxor, and great support from the drivers in both locations. The negatives: It was not clearly explained that Ahmed was not our guide and tour coordinator, but rather that we were contracting with a travel agency Black Camels Tours. We only understood this once we arrived in Cairo. Ahmed promised to send the guide and driver details a couple of days before departure, but this did not happen. We only received the information six hours before departure after repeated messages and reminders in the Gowithguide app. In Luxor, it was even worse—we received the details only upon arrival at the airport. This lack of timely communication made things stressful, especially considering the challenges of accessing the internet while traveling overseas with multiple connections. When I shared my recommendation, Ahmed responded with a rude message, which added to the unpleasantness. In conclusion, I would recommend this service for a one‑day tour, but not for multi‑day tours across different locations. The lack of clarity, poor communication, and rude tone detracted from the overall experience and made the trip less pleasant and more stressful.

As also explained, both our operations team and I remain in continuous contact with our guests before and during the trip, ensuring that no guest is ever left without support at any stage. While we respect that your expectations regarding timing may have been different, we must emphasize that all services were delivered as agreed, and continuous assistance was available throughout your journey. “Fascinating look into the temples at Luxor”

Hamada was absolutely brilliant. He is clearly very knowledgeable about the history of Ancient Egypt and the archaeological sites in the area, and he described it all in a way that was easy to understand while also bringing some of that History to life for me and my family. He made navigating everything very easy and ensured that our first day touring the Luxor area was as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Can't wait to learn more from him over the next two days.

“Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqarah & Alexandria with Rania - unforgettable adventures!”

We are very happy to have been connected with Rania for our Egypt trip! Our original plan included 3 half-day guided tours of the Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqarah, and Old Cairo (Coptic history). With her network and resourcefulness, she helped us adjust schedules around the heavy rains and sandstorms so we could still make the outdoor visits. Rania also arranged, on very short notice, a day trip to Alexandria where she guided part of our group herself, while seamlessly coordinating with a trusted colleague (thank you Gina) to lead those who remained in Cairo.
