Hello everybody! I am Nikos and I am born and raised in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki where I have been working as a professional licensed tour guide for the past ten years. I have a background in history and archaeology but I do believe that a guided tour should be more than just that. A guided tour should also be about the unecdotes, the people who live there, the stories that do not fit into history books. So, hopefully, together we are going to explore the city, learn about the sights and monuments, understand the people and feel its beating heart! I have been working as a professional licensed tour guide in Thessaloniki and all over Greece for a few years now, but every tour is completely different than the previous, and what makes it different is you! There is nothing like being outside, walking around with good company and showing the place you live and love, sharing to the people next to you the little secrets and unseen details that make it special. And if I can show you why this place is so special to me, then maybe it will become special to you too! I have a few tours planned but, please, do not hesitate to ask me about a customisable tour anywhere in northern Greece or maybe even more to the south. “He was not a guide. He was a friend !!”
Nikos was an amazing tour guide and really made our time in Santorini special. From the moment we met him, he was friendly, relaxed, and made us feel like we were exploring the island with a local friend rather than on a typical tour. He listened to what we wanted to see, adjusted the day to our pace, and always checked in to make sure we were comfortable. He took us to beautiful viewpoints, charming villages, and spots we would never have found on our own, including great places for photos and a delicious food stop. Along the way he shared stories about the island’s history and everyday life in a way that was interesting but never boring or overwhelming. On top of all that, Nikos was super easy to communicate with before and during the tour, which took all the stress out of planning our day. “Wonderful Tour with Alex!!”
We booked a private 4 hour tour for our family with Alex and it was amazing. He is so easy going, happy and extremely knowledgeable!! He came prepared with so many pictures and really engaged with our kids. Beforehand he was so responsive to any messages I sent him with questions or concerns. I would 1000% recommend him if you are visiting and want to learn about all the lovely history and culture of Athens, he was wonderful :)

“Great start to our Athens visit!”
We arrived in Athens this morning and booked this tour to get us out and walking to help overcome the jet lag. We are really glad we did. Maria was very friendly and personable and made us feel welcomed. She has a great knowledge of Greek history and took us through all of the areas we are going to want to explore in more detail durning the rest of our stay. It was a marvelous way to get oriented to a new city. Plus we got lots of tips on getting around and on different restaurants. I’d like to thank Maria again for an informative tour.
