Hello everybody! I am Nikos and was born and raised in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki, where I have been working as a professional licensed tourist guide ever since 2014. I have a background in history and archaeology but I do believe that a guided tour should be more than just that. A guided tour should also be about the anecdotes, the people who live there, the stories that do not fit into history books. So, hopefully, together we are going to explore the city, learn about the sights and monuments, understand the people and feel its beating heart! I have been working as a professional licensed tourist guide in Thessaloniki and all over Greece for a few years now, but every tour is completely different than the previous, and what makes it different is you! There is nothing like being outside, walking around with good company and showing the place you live and love, sharing to the people next to you the little secrets and unseen details that make it special. “Fun and Informative Tour!”
Our family of four (two adults and two teenagers) very much enjoyed our tour with Nikos! He was very knowledgeable and also very engaging, and made the tour interesting and fun for everyone. I especially appreciated hearing all of his background information about the region and the Macedonian royal family- information we wouldn’t t have gotten with just a self-guided visit. “The Pantheon in Athens”
If you don't book with Alexandros you are missing out. WOW! What an experience. He was through, knowledgeable, courteous and patient. I used a cane and he slowed down for me. I never felt rushed Alex custom fit our tour to what we wanted and the time we needed. He had many interesting facts about the acropolis and its environs, from the original concept, dates, wars, destruction and rebuilds. Just think this was a huge temple for a goddess, Athena. And it has stood for many centuries. It truly is one of the great wonders of the world.
