We'll explore together the pedestrian centre of Como, a fascinating medium size city which lies at the end of the western branch of Lake Como famous for silk production and for having been the home city of Alessandro Volta, the inventor of the battery. Then by Funicolar we'll reach the panoramic spot in Brunate.

The visit of Como is a walking tour of about 2 hours that we can customize upon your desires. The Funicolar (tickets not inlcuded, 5.70€ return ticket) makes a 8 minutes ride to Brunate, which is 500 meters/1600 feet above: if you're scared of heights, you might not enjoy this part! There might be lines to get the Funicolar tickets and to board it: please let me know if you want me to buy the tickets in advance which would reduce the waiting.
This tour starting time is totally flexible and it can be done also in the afternoon!

I was born here and I'm based in Como city and I'm looking forward to meeting you and make my best to help you enjoying your time discovering Como, the lake, Bellagio and villas like Balbianello and Carlotta which are open to the public. I graduated in Art History and, when is not tourist season, I teach photography to future art restorers at an Art Academy. I enjoy travelling and being a tour guide here allows me to discover in every tour new corners and secrets of Lake Como. I love meeting people and my job is more than just a job: it's a passion!
