Enchanting medieval town placed on top of a volcanic cliffy hill and surrounded by vineyards. Topped by the most beautiful Duomo (celeber sanctuary!), the city offers great food and wine tasting (white ORVIETO), shopping fashion and ceramics, culture and art inside the Duomo, exploration of the Etruscan underground and/or the descent into St. Patrick's well, a marvel of renaissance architecture when Orvieto became the "city of Popes.
Impressive, it will remain impressed inside of you forever.

I'm taking you to discover the northern countryside near Rome and reach Orvieto, a three millennial crossroad city, placed between three regions: Tuscany, Latium, Umbria.
Driving along the ancient Roman Consular street named CASSIA (after the name of the Consul that built it , over 200 years bC). Passing Through many important medieval towns such as Sutri, Vetralla, Montefiascone, we leave the Cassia and head to Orvieto.
On the way, stop at a bar for a drink and to admire the stunning town of Civita di Bagnoregio ( see photo).
As an amusement park, Orvieto starts to please us with a ride on this special train, followed by a bus ride to the main square where the Duomo stands imposingly.
We will visit inside where treasures of art are kept for the joy of art lovers.
Some shopping in a very interesting market for ceramics and high fashion clothings, followed by lunch in one of the many restaurants or caffetterias or bars.meet me again on Duomo's square.
Your choice: Orvieto Underground with local guide or St Patrick's well (marvel of Renaissance architecture). A third option could be to continue shopping if you like some more relaxing time. We have one hour time to spend here for only one of these options and we can split in three different groups.
To complete our testing local wines Three wines, some cold cuts and a quick visit to the cellars carved underground before leaving Orvieto.
A stop in the city that has a strict relation with the miracle of the sacred host. You can enter the Basilica where this event took place, astounding all the people present.
Maybe we have some time left for an ice cream before heading back to your Hotel that will be reached at 18.00.
